How Sad

     Like A set of new packages coming into the world,
     Both parts still in their seperate boxes,
     The tape hasn't even been cut.
     Then,
     Freshly unwrapped,
     They're out,
     And they have no idea what to do.
     As I've already mentioned,
     These kids are still new.
     Their paths cross,
     And she thinks she knows what she wants.
     Unfortunately,
     It's not what he wants.
     Heartbreak already,
     It's only been the first date.
     She's left with only misery,
     And there's no way for her to escape.
     She sits alone in her room,
     But she knows he won't call.
     She had just begun to walk,
     And already she falls.
     How sad,
     That this is misery.
     How sad,
     This is her case.
     How sad,
     She thought she found something right,
     But this wasn't the time nor place.
