     It's hard for anyone to trust you,
     When you tell them the truth.
     When you tell them that the truth
     Is that you always used to lie.
     When you tell them that your idea of being serious
     Was playing a game and not getting caught.

     You can't deny
     That this may all seem
     Foolish to do,
     But when the one that you truly love
     Comes into play,
     All plays are over
     And you're hit by the ultimate truth
     And we call that reality.

     Although things may seem difficult
     At the time,
     Don't give up.
     You've overcome a lot of things
     In your time.
     This won't be any different.
     Just like all the tests you've been through,
     This will require a lot of thought,
     As well as a lot of skills.

     Don't pay any attention to the fact
     That your target...
     I mean your girl
     Keeps looking over her shoulder.
     She's just trying to keep herself from getting hurt.
     Think about what you just told her.

     Remember everything you've ever learned
     And you'll be okay.
     Just don't go back to what you used to be.
     If you do that
     All bets are off.
     If you go back,
     You'll lose the one thing
     You've never really had before.
