Bad Memories

     Suddenly things appear to remind me
     Of past memories best left forgotten.
     I have no option but to confront them now.

     Thoughts of vengeance reappear
     And like the dark knight
     I want to right the wrongs.

     Bad memories
     They only seem to lead to
     Bad choices.

     Should I seek reparations
     Or simply learn and live?
