Ms. B.:

Would you object to me posting your email (as in, the email you wrote) on the
message board I talked about earlier?

I have the full text here in case you wanted to make sure it's all okay to
        print.

        Thanks again.

        Dear Patrick,
This chat was co-written by myself and author Larry Graves the two weeks prior
to that date, perhaps even a month before. We are
both members of a club called The Net Wits. We did this chat as a promotional
service to increase hits to both our sites and the Net
        Wits.

Subsequently, I learned a few months later that this chat was plagiarized on a
well-known message board, which name eludes me at the
moment. I found out by a woman who wrote me to tell me that she had a feeling
the author was plagiarizing, did a search, and found
out that Larry and I were the real authors. This person was apparently getting
kudos and what not for supposedly writing this story.

I then found out that the person who plagarized the story was tragically
killed in an auto accident. I did speak with the owners of
the message board/site and they apologized profusely for the plagiarism.

I would imagine if you are writing me than the story has been plagarized
again, or you are referring to the same incident I am?

Either way, when I heard the poor guy died I certainly wasn't going to post to
that board "HEY..I"m the writer, not him". That would
have seemed just a tad too callous.

Anyway, I hope this sheds some light on the matter for your or for your
        friend.
        Angela B.

          Ms. B.:

In a discussion with a friend of mine beginning yesterday, the topic of
        "Diva
on a Rant" came up.  More specifically, the site
http://www.humorcolumns.com/cyberchat.html.  My friend is wondering if the
chat session took place on February 15, 1999, or if the date was changed
        for
some reason.  Specifically, she wants me to prove that it wsan't changed
        from
          a later date.

Any help you can give me in this is greatly appreciated.
