• Pursuant to the provisions of Article 18 of the Greene County Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Greene County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. and the Greene County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. in the County Administration Building Meeting Room located at 40 Celt Road in Stanardsville to hear the following re-zoning request:

  1. Joel Snow requests a re-zoning from B-1 to R-2 on 1.50 acres of a 3.30 acre tract located in Dyke on Route 650/Mt. Olivet Road and identified on County Tax Maps as 46-(A)-54. (RZ#01-138)

  Information regarding these projects may be reviewed in Room 226 of the Greene County Administration Building, Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Pursuant to the provisions of Article 17 of the Greene County Zoning Ordinance and Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2205 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the GREENE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. and the GREENE COUNTY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. in the County Meeting Room in the Greene County Administration Building located at 40 Celt Road in Stanardsville to consider the following request:

  1. Edison Crawford requests a special use permit for an outdoor recreational facility on an 18 acre tract, which is zoned A-1, located in Dyke on Route 627/Bacon Hollow Road and identified on County Tax Maps as 23-(A)-8. (BZA#02-700)

• Pursuant to Section 15.2-4307 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Greene County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 30, 2002 at 7:30p.m. to consider a proposal for the removal of property from an Agricultural & Forestal District in Greene County. The public hearings will be held in the County Administration Building Meeting Room located at 40 Celt Road.

  Information regarding this project may be reviewed in Room 226 of the Greene County Administration Building or at the Greene County Extension Office, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
