About SMF

Stony Mountain Fibers has been supplying fiber craftspeople with equipment, fibers, books and dyes since 1989

Located on Hammocks Gap just outside of Charlottsville Virginia, this modern facility is not only a shoppe for your fiber needs but also has a fully equipped dye studio and classroom space. Classes in weaving spinning, knitting and dyeing are taught throughout the year. Enrollment is limited so the student gets personal guidance and attention.
