~Erin’s Point Of View~*~
Brian and the rest of the Backstreet Boys had gone to work on a routine. We were pulled outside to some trailor.
One by one we were pulled inside of it to try on our “crazier” outfits. Ours were nothing compared to what the guys would be wearing, though.
Heather had blue sweatpants and a blue tank top. Amy got army pants and a black tank top. Jennifer had on a flowery orange dress. Tracy wore plaid pants and a green tank top.
In my opinion, my outfit was the worst. Sandals, blue shorts, and a part orange-part blue short sleeve shirt with weird glasses.
“We look like freaks!” Amy said.
“I second that,” Jennifer chimed in.
“Your outfits aren’t nearly as bad as mine!” I said. “At least we’ll be wearing different clothes for some of the video.”
“Come on, I wanna see the guys do their dance, and they’re taping it now.” Heather said.
We walked back inside. They were wearing black shirts/jackets and bluejeans.
Brian looked up at me and cracked a smile.
‘Oh man, he must be thinking how big of a loser I look like right now!’ I thought.
“Okay, guys. This is it, look alive!” Fatima was shouting.
The music started. They began their dance.
“Attitude!” Fatima shouted. “Come on! Attitude! Hit it! Go B-rok, go B-rok, it’s your birthday, go B-rok!” she chanted. Brian smiled again.
They completed it.
“Okay, cut!” Nigel shouted. Brian pushed AJ.
“Okay! Good job guys!” Nigel said. “The girls just finished getting their outfits fitted and everything, your next. We’ll do the normal outfits first. Then we’ll get to the… interesting ones.” He said.
The guys walked over.
“Wow, did I ever compliment you on your amazing fashion sense?” Brian asked.
“Shut-up cowboy! Wait til you see your outfit.” I grinned.
They tried on both sets of outfits. Since were doing normal clothes first, I didn’t get to see them look stupid yet.
When I walked into the warehouse building, they were still getting the set ready. Kevin and Brian were playing a little catch and throw. I walked over behind a camera that was filming Kevin.
Talking about Brian, Kevin said, “He’s my cousin… um, we’ve been together in the group for 4 years, but he’s my cousin. I’ve known him all my life.”
After the camera man stopped filming I started laughing.
“What?” he asked.
“Well, your older than Brian, am I right?” I asked. He nodded. “Well then how have you known him all your life?”
He thought for a moment. “Oh shut-up!”
