Tracy, Amy, and I went down to the beach. Jennifer was still asleep. The guys had brought a volleyball net and were playing. Brian and Kevin verse Howie and AJ.
"Hello ladies," Kevin greeted, eying Tracy.
"Where's Jennifer?" Howie asked.
"Still asleep. Which reminds me..." I said. I took my bucket down to the water and filled it up.
"What are you doing?" Brian asked.
"I think it's time Jen woke up!" I replied. Everyone laughed. Howie told us we shouldn't, but it was 6 to 1. They paused their game and walked back up to the beach house with us. We went through the door and up the stairs to her bedroom. The clock on her bed read almost noon. Everyone crowded in the doorway to watch. The other's didn't know me very well, but B-rok and Tracy expected it from me. When Nick and I got together, we did some wild pranks back school. This was nothing.
SPLASH! I poored the salt water on her. Jen jumped up almost immedietly!
"Ahh! What was that!?" she cried. We all laughed. Howie threw her a towel.
"I tried to stop them!"he said solemnly.
"Man! That was freezing!"Jen complained.
"Glad I woke up a little while ago!" Amy laughed.
~A few minutes later~
We went back down to the beach. Jen promised she'd be down in a few minutes. Howie stayed with her.
"Okay, can we continue the game now?" Kevin asked.
"Dude, two against one ain't fair!" AJ complained. He glanced at Amy. "Wanna play?"
"Sure!" she walked over to the net.
"Tracy, Erin?" Brian asked.
"Sure." I agreed.
"Nah, I'm going to walk along the beach." Tracy told us.
"Oh, I wanna come, too. I'm out." Kev said.
"You were the one so eager to start again!" Brian complained. "Whatever. Serve it AJ."
He did. It was pretty stiff competetion for awhile. Then Amy got up to serve. She held the ball in her left hand, and went to hit it with her right hand, but ended up just throwing it over with her left.
Brian caught it. "Ya don't throw it, ya Serve it over!" he laughed and threw it back to her.
"I did!" Amy insisted. "Our point!"
"No way! That's cheating!" I insisted back.
"Ooh! Bri, you know what we do with cheaters, right?" AJ laughed, slyly looking at Amy.
Brian looked confused and then grinned back. "Oh yeah! Let's do it!"
Amy and I just stood there wondering what they were talking about. Brian and AJ ran, grabbed Amy, and lifted her up.
"Oh, no! The water's cold!" she screamed. "Erin! Help!" she cried as they carried her to the water and dropped her in.
"Man, is that the oldest trick in the book or what? A Backstreet Boy dropping his girlfriend in the water. Well, I'm glad I didn't cheat!"I laughed to them. Amy didn't find it very funny.
"Man! AJ I was on your team!" Amy splashed AJ.
