Our Beliefs

Doctrinal Statement

THE BIBLE We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, the infallible Word of God. It is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.(2Timothy3:16) ONE GOD We believe in one eternal God, all powerful, Holy in nature, attributes and purpose. He is an absolute, indivisible deity. The One True God has revealed Himself as Father in creation, through His Son Jesus Christ in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost, by emanation. (1Corinthians8:6, Ephesians4:6, 2Corinthians5:19,Joel2:28) THE SON OF GOD The one true God took upon Himself the form of man, and as the Son of man, was born of the virgin Mary. This one true God was made manifest in the flesh in Jesus Christ. In Jesus dwelled all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Therefore, Jesus in His humanity was man and in His Deity was and is all God. His flesh was the lamb, or sacrifice of God to take away the sins of the world. There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. (1Timothy2:5) THE NAME God used different titles in the Old Testament, such as "God Elohim," "El Shaddai," and "Jehovah Lord." Old Testament prophecies were fulfilled when Jesus was born. The scriptures say that a son would be born and His name will be Jesus for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew1:21) SALVATION We are justified by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ that He shed for us at Calvary. Pardon and forgiveness of sins is obtained by real repentance, a confession and forsaking of sin. To repent, means to turn away from the sin and to have a change of heart toward the sin. Without repentance, there can be no salvation. One must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood to be saved. WATER BAPTISM The scriptual mode of baptism is to be immersed, that is totally put completely under the water. It is available to those who have totally repented of their sins in Jesus' name. The candidate for baptism is to be baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. There is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts4:12,Acts2:38,8:16,10:48,19:5) ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION After having been "born again" by faith and water baptism one should press on to the second blessing of entire sanctification which is obtained by faith, not works and paid for by Jesus' shed blood at Calvary. The believer will come to that point when he or she will surrender all that they are to the will of God and inbred sin shall be destroyed when Jesus baptises the candidate with the Holy Ghost. FUNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE Our basic and fundamental doctrine shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is being born again through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for our sins, water baptism by immersion, and the second blessing of entire sanctification wherein the heart is purified by faith.
