Sakura no Suteki na Otomodachi
(Sakura's Wonderful Friend)
In the morning, Kerberos wakes up Sakura. She sleepily whimpers that no one in her family has an Osaka accent, so she thinks it's the TV. Then she sees Kerberos and screams. She then remembers how she found him and the Clow book. She then goes down for breakfast.
When she gets downstairs, Touya is surprised that he only had to call her once. She says it was because she had someone waking her up. When she realizes she slipped, she says she means the alarm clock. When her dad comes down, he says that the food looks good. Touya says it's better than the "monster's". Sakura stomps on his foot.
She eats quickly because she's in charge of cleaning the classroom this morning. She takes a cookie up to Kerberos and says he can watch TV when his brother and dad leave for school. Kerberos thinks her dad is still a student, but she tells him that he's a college professor. She then notices that it's very late and leaves.
On the way to school, she takes a detour to Yukito's house. She doesn't think he's there, but he is, and she tells him she's in charge of cleaning the classroom today. He gives her some flowers to decorate the room.
Sakura is the first one in her classroom, followed by Tomoyo. Sakura asks her if she's in charge of something, but she says she just wanted to show her a video. It winds up being Sakura on Fly with Kerberos flying past the moon. She screams, and Kerberos pops out of her school bag, saying he'll take it on if it's a Clow card. He then sees Tomoyo, who realizes he's the creature in the video.
At recess, Sakura introduces Kerberos and Tomoyo. Tomoyo says he doesn't look like his name, so they decide to call him Kero-chan. He says not to call him like some, because he's the beast of the seal.
Kero explains how Sakura came to be a Cardcaptor, and Tomoyo is very impressed, She has confidence in Sakura. She asks to see some magic, so Sakura releases the cane. Tomoyo wants to see more, but the topic is changed when she tells her she needs a trademark pose to be a true magical girl.
The next morning at school, there are huge piles of desks and chairs everywhere. Tomoy thinks it's a Clow card, and Kero agrees, although he's not sure which one. He says they should get it tonight. Sakura's afraid of the school at night, but Tomoyo is more than willing to go with her and videotape her bravery. She then realizes that Sakura needs to hurry up with her pose.
That night, Tomoyo shows up with her family bodyguards. Sakura says that it's rare for a grade schooler to have bodyguards, but Tomoyo says it's even rarer for one to use magic. She then shows Sakura a truck full of costumes she brought for her. Kero agreed that she should wear special clothes so she doesn't lose the mental abttle against the card. Tomoyo gives Kero a bow that matches Sakura's outfit.
They then see a floating statue. There;s a shadow of a person holding it, but no perosn. Kero says that it's the Shadow card. Sakura releases the Seal Cane and uses Windy, but Shadow attacks her. She escapes with Fly. They find out that Shadow had taken the shadows of all the students there.
Suddenly, desks start flying around in the classrooms and out the windows, and the Shadow card grabbed Sakura from below. Kero tells Tomoyo that light will make all the shadows disappear, so she turns on all the lights in the school. Shadow's humanoid form is all that's left, and Sakura uses Windy to seal it.
The next day, Sakura runs into her friend Chiharu in the hall. She asks where Tomoyo is. She says she's in the audio/ visual room, so Sakura goes in to give her a present. She's surprised to see her watching a tape of last night's capture.
Tomoyo says that from now on, she wants to be called whenever a Clow card is around. She wants to record the adventures of the Cardcaptor. She tells Sakura to leave the costumes to her; she'll add more frills and ribbon next time.
