Unavailable to afford a photograph, the first image of Sigma Sigma Sigma in Longwood College's The Light was a pen and ink sketch. The image depicts a skull and cross-bones, lists the sorority colors as purple and green, and also marked the second sorority founded at Longwood.

This was the first group photo taken of the Alpha Chapter, appearing in the yearbook in 1899. Front Row: Elizabeth Watkins, Isabella Merrick, Sallie Michie, Mary Elizabeth Rixey, Lelia Scott, Martha Featherston, Lucy Wright. Second Row: Louise Davis, Lucy Thornton, Margaret Batten, Lucy Stubbs, Laird Leason, Ellen Richardson. This was taken of the Alpha Chapter in 1927. This image is located in one of our scrapbooks. The handwriting on the picture lists names and nicknames.
