Unavailable to afford a photograph, the first image of Sigma Sigma Sigma in Longwood College's The Light was a pen and ink sketch. The image depicts a skull and cross-bones, lists the sorority colors as purple and green, and also marked the second sorority founded at Longwood.
This was the first group photo taken of the Alpha Chapter, appearing in the yearbook in 1899.
