Infinity

Infinity is a concept that truly boggles my mind. How long can infinity possibly be? I know what you're thinking: "Infinity has no end, stupid." But have you considered the void which lies between here and the outermost stretch of Infinity? We are but an insignificant speck of something infinitely greater, and the void between us and the end is ever-growing.

To think that two people's lives could intersect for a single moment and then cross in the opposite direction for an endless duration truly scares me. How can you pull close to something that is ever-pushing away? Even if you turn and run back after what has been lost, how can you catch up to the infinite distance to quell the pain of loss?
