The Power of Love

Sometimes I complain about how time, distance, and the other elements are always against me. I look at them in a negative sense. However, my perception of the life around me is flawed. As humans, we cannot accept the state of balance that life is in. Rather, because we are flawed, we see the good things in life as bad. In fact, no one can see things as they really are, except for God. The things in life we criticize were created that way for a reason. Our feelings can be attributed to the sense of selfishness we have in life.

Of course, it's natural to focus on things and their effects on ourselves, but to truly appreciate the things that God has made, even the things we cannot see or begin to understand, we must look on its macro-influence.

Take, for instance, time. In our busy lives, we are constantly racing against the clock and even mutter curses at its quick passing or in anxiousness for time to pass. But we live in the present. Time is relative, but time establishes order. If we were to remain in one instance, we might be happy, but others would not. There's so many things we want to do in only a minute, but time passes. It's just one more thing that shows us that we cannot do everything.

Until we try to see things as God sees them, we will continue to curse his creations. God created the physical things around us and formed an optimally-balanced cycle. Think about the food web that was constructed. One animal depends on another for survival, but when we tamper with it, species become threatened.

No, I'm not saying that you can't touch anything, but we need to accept things for as they are. Seeing the beauty and balance in the life around us can help us see a glimmer of the wisdom of our awesome God.

You know, I complain about time and distance and everything, but my perception of everything is not perfect. Nobody can see things as they really are, except for God. The things we criticize were formed for a reason. However, things could not have been created in more of a state of balance than it has been by God.
