Witch Princess Carla

This one took a little more work but she didn't have to be a rocket scientist to earn it. We had one little incidence of having to determine which one of us was boss. I won because I was bigger then her. Having a lot of trouble with the STAY command. She wants to go where I do. Something to work on more at home and during day care. Mostly, she does the exercises with a determined look on her face.

We also got her official papers back from The American Kennel Club. In case the name looks a little strange to you, believe me that it fits. The "Princess" part is from my husband who thinks she is a sweet little angel. The "Witch" part was contributed by me. The little angel is a sneak who likes to pick on our male Rotties. They're bigger than she is but that doesn't stop her from aggravating them or even chasing the cat. She also digs major size holes, eats anything she can get her teeth on and generally acts like a little witch. One sometimes looks at a puppy and forgets that they grow up and the ageing can cause gray hairs to sprout quickly.

Princess loves to go to her daycare. She gets all excited when we do the U-turn to pull into the site. If I don't move fast enough each morning, she will get her leash and bring it to me. Except for the periods when the staff is working on her obedience stuff, she gets to play with dogs of all sizes. As one of my teachers once said, "she plays well with her peers".

She is also a pooped puppy when she gets home. Even though she has had a good time, she is tired and ready to go home when I get there to pick her up. After she gets home, she eats and passes out. (Warning message here: A young dog in a good daycare will eat more than a couch potato but won't show it...) Doesn't move unless I get up and change rooms. Still spoiled about that. But she sleeps and eats well and is ready to go again the next day. At the moment, she is under the desk snoring her little heart out. No energy to tear up the house or eat parts of it. And the cat and older dogs are safe from her wild puppy streaks.
