Guitar Tablature

All songs transcribed by me, unless otherwise noted. I did base the songs on the songbook, but it only contained the basic chords, some of which didn't fit in well. Keep in mind this is only a rough guide and not a literal note-for-note transcription, especially with the solos. Dave Gilmour uses a lot of fills, overdubs and harmonization, but I am only arranging this for one guitar. chords used:

Dogs
--David Gilmour and Roger Waters--

intro (play each chord for 4 bars):
OK! I have finally unlocked the mystery of the acoustic intro to this
song! It is tuned down a WHOLE step and played in E minor, so it sounds
like D minor. The real way David Gilmour played the four intro chords is
like this:

   Em9 Cadd4 Bsus2 Bbsus2
1---2-----0-----0-----0--
2---3-----1-----2-----1--
3---0-----0-----4-----3--
4---2-----3-----4-----3--
5---------3-----2-----1--
6------------------------

Of course, no one wants to tune down a whole step just for the first few
minutes of the song, so I invented a way to play it in standard tuning.
The chords are shown above, but for a recap here they are:

   Dm9 Bbadd4 Asus2 Absus
1---------1----------------
2---5-----3-----0------3---
3---5-----3-----2------1---
4---3-----1-----2------1---
5---5-----1-----0----------
6--------------------------

Try it! It really works.

You've got to be crazy, you've got to have a real need
          Bbadd4
You gotta sleep on your toes when you're on the street

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, he makes me down to lie
through pastures green, he leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives he releaseth my soul, he maketh me to hang on hooks
                              Am
in high places, he converteth me to lamb cutlets for lo he hath great
                                    C Bm
power and great hunger--when cometh the day we lowly ones, through
                                                     C Am
quiet reflection, and great dedication, master the art of karate, lo
we shall rise up and then we'll make the bugger's eyes water

Bleating and babbling we fell on his neck with a scream
E5
Wave upon wave of demented avengers marched cheerfully out of obscurity
         A5 E5
into the dream
         F#5 A5

F#5
You'd better stay home and do as you're told
