For the last hike up the side of the canyon walls I would have liked my pegasus to come and fly me away but then we saw these guys at the bottom of the trail headed up and us women were suddenly inspired to move faster. This inspired our men because they didn't want the women to catch up to them.
But yes, this also ment that the trip was over. There was cool-down walk through woodland to relax the muscles a bit and then we chilled in the parking lot while Eric and Heather drove back up the canyon to get the second car. We got home around 10:30 p.m. and my mother was quite worried but all in all it was well worth it and I can not wait until next time.
