After coming out of the "Subway" we are rewarded by nice warm sun...you see we got too late of a start and so in that last place where you saw Tom in a canyon filled with nice warm sun...well we hit that canyon after the sun had passed across the eastern cliffs...it was getting chilly.
These pools and waterfalls span from wall to wall and they ARE the path. The canyon begins to get wider and the natural springs and slickrock become cascades of velvety water. We found many nice waterslides here...our favorite was of this same red sandstone with water rushing across it...but it was rather steep, smooth and sort of multi leveled...ending in a nice pool at the bottom. We didn't take pictures of it because I didn't know how to work Heather's camera so it was my fault. I'm sorry. Enjoy these anyway.
