Wes Morgan's Monster Bluegill

Caught April 30, 2006 this bluegill is mere ounces from Texas State weight record in public waters!!!!




Dr. Morgan's Bluegill was 11 1/4" long and weighed 1 Pound 3 OZ.!!! State Record for public waters is 1.8 Pounds and 11 1/2 inches long as of April 30, 2006 (Caught 1993 in Purvis Lake)




Fishing with a worm and a bobber on a quiet Sunday evening. As stated before Dr. Morgan is not just a great "Fisher of Men" from the pulpit but one of the foremost anglers in the Conroe, Tx area!!! Great job Wes!!!
