Road Worthiness
The Morris has an outstanding handling ability thanks to the
torsion bar suspension and the rack and pinion steering gear.
The original cars had side arm shock absorbers, although recent
restorations have substituted tube shocks because of their ease
of replacement.
Mileage is still fairly impressive with 36 mpg on the old scale
being possible with a well tuned motor.
Parts are still available in Sydney from Morris Minor World
Prices vary from the hundreds of dollars for an unrestored car
up to $8000 for a restored vehicle.
