A Blessing by Patriarch Edward Davis upon the head of
FERRIN LA MAR MANWILL
son of James Albert Manwill and Lucy Taylor- Born Nov, 22. 1891.
 At Benjamin.  Utah Co, Utah.

Brother Ferrin Manwill, 
                                      I lay my hands upon youyour head
and confer upon you a Patriarchal blessing.
  
     Thou art a chosen vessel before the Lord, of the seed
of Abraham of the lineage of Ephraim.

Because thou wast valiant on the Lords side when Lucifer
fought against our Father, and did assist under our great

Prince Michael to cast satan out of heaven.  Thou wast reser
 ved to come forth in this dispensation and be endowed with
 authority from heaven and continue the warfare against Lucifer
 here upon earth until he is bound.

        Therefore be valient in thy calling and their is a great 
        reward in store for thee.
     The blessing and favor of the Lord shall be upon thee and upon thy household, and
upon thy fields and thy cattle and upon all thy substance and upon all the labor of thy
hands.

     Fear not because of calamity and destruction that shall
 overtake the wicked, but be diligent in the service of the
 Lord.  Thy guardian Angel shall deliver thee from the power
 of the destroyer.

     Thy voice shall become eloquent and powerful, swaying
 the minds of men as the wind swayeth the trees, Converting
 the honest in heart and causeing the ungodly to fear.

        Thy soul shall rejoice greatly because of the blessings
of the Lord upon thee.

     Put thy trust in the Lord and not in any Man.
Thou shalt have power to rebuke satan and sickness and dis
ease.
     Be faithful to the end of thy days, Thy name is written
 in the Lambs Book of life.  Thou shalt pass by the Angels
 and the Gods to thy exaltation among the redeemed and sanc-
tified.
     I seal thee up against the power of the destroyer
 until the day of redemption, to come forth in the morning
 of the first resurrection, clothed upon with glory and
immortality and eternal life.
     These blessings I seal upon thy head by the power of the
Holy Priesthood vested in me and in the name of Jesus Christ,
Even so, Amen.
