     They came with the Robert F. Neslen (3rd Wagon) Company which departed from 
Florence, Nebraska on 26-28 June 1859 and arrived in Salt Lake City on 15 Sep 1859.

     They spent the winter of 1859-1860 in Brigham City where Olof died and is buried before
moving on to make a permanent home in Logan.

     future wife, Anna Marie Erickson      age 30

     They came west as servants of the same family.  They travelled with the John R. Young
Independent Company leaving Florence, Nebraska on 6 Jul 1863 arriving in Salt Lake on 12
Sep 1863. They were married by Joseph Young the day after they arrived.  Anders went to
work in Logan and Maria went with the family to Grantsville.  From there she walked to Logan
to be with her husband.
