~~~~~~~Indian Love Letter~~~~~~~~~~~
  Lady of the crescent  moon Tonight i look at the sky You  are not there You  are  not mad at me, are  you? You are angry at the people, yes i know'' They are changeing but not to hard If you were taken to the mission school, not because you wanted, But someone thought it is best for you You too would change..... They come out of nowhere Telling us how to eat our food How to build our homes How to plant our croops.... Need i say more of what they did? All is new____ the old ways are nothing...... They are changeing Be not too hard!!!!                                                          By: cheri lund
~~~~~~~~The creation of man~~~~~~~~~~~~
  The god's and the spirit's of sacred mountain's created man. He was made of all rain's spring's river's pond's....Black cloud's and sky..... His feet are made of earth, And his leg's of lighting,,,, white shell form's his knee's,,, His body white and yellow corn,, His flesh is of day_break,... His hair of darkness: His eyes are of the sun...White corn forms his teeth, black corn his eye brows .... And red coral beard, his nose.... His tears are of the rain, His tougne of straight lighting, and his voice of thunder, His heart is obsidian; The little whir_wind keep's his never's in motion, and movement is the air.... The name of this new kind of being was created from everything,,,,,,,,,                                            BY: Cheri Lund
