Nick ran into the house. "Where are they?" he asked Leighanne.
"Candi went to put Court to bed. Nick? Are you ok Hun? Your hand looks swollen and bruised. You found Justin didn't you?" she asked worriedly.
"Yeah ask Brian or one of the other guys. Have you found AJ?" he said quickly.
"Not yet," she answered and then Nick ran up to Courtney's room just as Candi was closing the door.
"Hey. How is she doing?" Nick asked.
Candi wrapped her arms around his waist and cried into his shirt. "She's a little shaken up. I think she'll be fine though. She's just scared of Justin and scared he'll do it again. She was saying how glad she was that you found her. She was scared that no one would come for her. She's so scared. Oh god Nick I can't stand seeing her like this. Maybe you can calm her down and kinda help her through this since you found her."
"K. Why don't you go talk to the other guys then go to bed." Nick suggested praying that Kevin, Brian and Howie D didn't tell anyone about his feelings for Courtney like they promised.
"All right." she mumbled walking down the stairs. Nick opened the door.

"Courtney? Can I come in?" he said quietly.
"Nick! Yeah come in." She replied. Nick rushed over to her and hugged her as she started crying.
"How did you know to come and look for me Nick?" Courtney whispered.
"I asked the bartender where you went when I went to get Candi a drink. HE told me that you left with some guy that wasn't AJ. I asked if you were drunk and he said you looked it. I got this feeling that something was wrong so I ran out of there looking for you." Nick answered.
"Oh! I was scared that I wouldn't be able to get up. Then I heard your voice and all of the sudden I could move. I know I shouldn't be saying this but I'm glad you were the one that found me," she whispered.
"I'm kinda glad too. I know this isn't the best time to be saying this but lately I've had feelings for you." Nick started.
"Nick..."
"No listen. When I thought you were Candi and I kissed you I felt something that I've never felt before. I know this is wrong. I mean I'm in love with you. I'm in love with my girlfriends twin sister. I don't know why this..."
"Nick be quiet. I love you too." Courtney whispered loudly.
"You do? Oh god...how can we do this to Candi? I mean she's your sister and I'm her boyfriend! Oh lord Courtney. How can this be?" Nick exclaimed quietly.
"I don't know Nick. I love you and I love my sister. It hurts me when I see you two together. I'm just thankful that Candi isn't big on PDA and is like jamming her tongue down your throat in front of me. Nick I don't know how long I can do this." Courtney replied.
"I know. Neither can I. We'll just have to keep this a secret for a while k? If we still have feelings for each other after a while then we'll just have to tell her. Do you have someone from back home that can come down here and help you out? You can even tell them about us." Nick asked.
"Yeah my best friend. All I have to say is I need him and he'll come down asap." Courtney answered.
"A guy? Did you ever go out with him? Does he have feelings for you?" Nick questioned.
"Jealous Nick? Don't worry. We went out in like ninth grade. That was like 4-5 years ago so no feelings." Courtney replied smiling for the first time since the incident at the club.
"K. I'm not jealous. I was just wondering. Well, you go to bed and you can call your friend tomorrow morning k?" Nick said.
"K. Nick," she yawned.
"Night Court. I love you." Nick whispered kissing her forehead.
"I love you too Nick," she whispered back. Nick smiled and started to walk out the door.
"Nick?" Courtney called out.
"Yeah?"
"I...I don't want to lose Candi. She's almost all I've got for family. But I don't wanna lose you either. I don't think I could live without either of you," she whispered.
"You won't lose us. It will work out. I promise you."
