| Presentation: | A pale yellow sterile solution containing Norfloxacin 100 mg/ml. |
| Indications: | Mycomas 10% Injection is
effective against a broad spectrum of gram positive and
gram negative bacteria, certain rickettsiae and larger
viruses, and in the treatment of common systemic,
gastrointestinal, urinary, respiratory and local
infections. Species: Poultry, Cattle and Sheep. |
| Dosage and Administration: | For intramuscular injection.
Poultry: The recommended dosage is 0.05 - 0.1 ml per kg bodyweight depending on the severity of the infection. Cattle and Sheep: The recommended dosage is 2.5 mg/kg bodyweight or 0.25 ml per 10 kg for respiratory and intestinal diseases, or 5 mg/kg bodyweight (0.5 per 10 kg) for salmonellosis or severe respiratory disease. Continue treatment for 3-5 consecutive days. |
| Contra-Indications and Warnings: |
Over dosage or prolonged treatment may cause lack of appetite and growth arrest. |
| Recommended Withholding Period: | Milk and meat should not be used for human consumption during treatment or for 4 days thereafter. |
