UNIVET is housed in a
purpose built newly constructed facility. The facility is
dedicated to the manufacture of Veterinary
Pharmaceuticals. The entire operation is under one roof
and the facilities include manufacturing suites dedicated
to the blending and filling of oral dosage forms, sterile
intramammary treatments and sterile parenterals. The
manufacture of these products also includes storage of
raw materials, packaging and finished products, weighing
rooms, analytical laboratories, labelling and packaging
areas, and a suitable distribution system. Nutritional
Supplements are also manufactured on the site. The facility is licenced by Irish Medicines Board (IMB) and operates under Pharmaceutical GMP Regulations. Presently we are manufacturing following quality veterinary pharmaceuticals:
The facility has been designed in such a way that further expansion, if required, would be easily implemented. The seven and a half acre site includes an administration block separated from the manufacturing facility by the finished product storage area. The building area is 2,150 square metres. The building commenced construction in 1994 and was recently fully fitted out. This new facility was designed, built and commissioned to conform to the principals of Good Manufacturing Practice.
