3) In the Darkness

"Okay. The Wileys went to the past and Tygra went to Angel's home. So, does that mean
that Angel's realm could be our own?" Sophia asked Chronos. The two were walking down the
portal that had sucked up Bengali and Pumyra.
"Could be...but I don't know for sure," Chronos said. Sophia sighs.
"I still can't believe that she..." Sophia said, trailing off with a blush.
"Why does that bother you so much?" Chronos asked.
"Because she's so much like Angela...and it's like I'm lossing Angela," Sophia said, sadly.
Chronos wraped an arm around her.
"But she's not Angela. She's just her universal twin," Chronos said.
"I know...but it still hurts," Sophia said. Chronos just sighs at this.
"I wonder what realm Benglai and Pumyra are in," Choronos mused.

Angel Pink sat out in a lawn chair by a glistening swimming pool. She was at her summer home
deep in the woods of her hometown on her homeworld. Her long pink hair was up in two long braids
and her emerald green eyes hidden behind a pair of dark shades. She wore a white bikini and
sighed happily as she worked on her tan. After her experience in the Utena realm, her chossen
soul mate and partner Sage had escaped from the gods and decided to hunt her down for her powers
and her life, so that he would be the only one to travel between the realms. She shuddered at
that thought and had to hide out in realms she didn't frequent. So far she had been to
Buffyverse, Deep Space Nine, and classic Planet of the Apes. She plans on going to the diffrent
X-Men realms to get help from Xavier in helping to unlock her hidden helaing power so she can
help her soul mate and free him from the evil that has control of his thoughts and heart. It's
during these musing that Angel Pink hears two large objects fall into her pool.
"What the..." she starts as she scrambles out of the lawn chair. She is very surprised to see
Bengali and Pumyra splashing around in her pool.
"Thundercats?" she asked. They stopped and loooked at her.
"Angel Pink?" they both asked.

Moments later, everyone is inside. Angel Pink has Bengali's and Pumyra's cloths in the dryer,
and was able to find them some cloths they could temperaily wear. While they were all waiting
for the clothes to dry, Bengali and Pumyra told Angel Pink their story.
"So, there's another girl out there who looks like Angela?" Angel Pink asked.
"She doesn't just look like her, the two could pass for each other," Pumyra said.
"Except that Angela has brown eyes and Angel has green eyes...like you," Bengali said.
Angel Pink thought about this.
'So, there's htre of us. I'll have to meet this girl,' Angel Pink thought. Suddenly, she heard
a strange sound and looked up at the two Thundercats.
"Sorry, but it's been awhile since we last ate," Bengali said. Angel Pink smiled.
"That's okay. It's dinner time anyway. So let's get something to eat," Angel Pink said and led
the way to the kitchen.

Deep in the woods, a man with long white hair and honey gold eyes dressed very much like
Zelgadis but his cloths were all black was walking alone.
(Zelgadis wanna be!) (ANYA!) (sorry...not!) (moan)
Where ever he wwnt, everything went silent and this made him smile.
"Soon I will find you my dear. And then, all your power will be mine," he said, a grim smile
now on his face.

Back at the house, everyone's stomachs were happy from the dinner they had been able to make of
pasta and garlic bread with vanilla ice cream for desert.
"Gods that was good," Angel Pink said. She then noticed that the two Thundercats were looking at
her.
"What?" she asked.
"Angel says that to," Bengali said.
"What?"
"Gods," Pumyra said.
"Well, there is more than one God...there are even Goddeseses. They are the ones who chosse me
and my sister to be the guardians of the Dimensional gates and all the realms," Angel Pink said.
Bengali and Pumyra both had an 'oh' look on their face when they heard this. The three talked
some more before one by one they went upstairs for bed. Angel Pink had said at dinner she
would help them to get home in the morning. This pleased Bengali and Pumyra, but they all didn't
know that this wouldn't come to pass. While Bengali and Pumyra were...havng fun...in their room
down the hall. Angel Pink was basiclly dead asleep down the hall. Sage easily slipped into the
house and quietly walked through the house. He could sense who was in the house and where, so
he tried to go past Bengali's and Pumyra's room as quiet as he could, but he accidently stepped
on a creaky spot in the floor and froze in place. For a minuet nothing happened and Sgae
continued to Angel Pink's room. He quietly opnes the door and sees her sleeping in bed.
Angel Pink is lying on her back, face to him, and the window is open allowing the moonlight to
shine gently on her face. In that moment Sage is him old self but the darkness wells back up
into his heart and mind. Sage begins to creep into the room and when he's halfway across the
room the damn lights flash on and he shouts as they blind him momentarliy. Angel PInk sits up
in surpirse. She gasps to see Sage in the room and Bengali & Pumyra at the open door.
"RUN!" Angel Pink simply shouts, and the two do as she says rmebering well what had happened
the last time he had visited 3rd Earth.
"That was follish my dear," Sage said, as the spots began to clear from his eyes.
"Rose Shower Smoke Screen!" Angel Pink said, holding out a single full bloom white rose. A wind
picks up in the room and blows the petals off the rose. The petals seem to multiply as they
create a literal smoke screen of rose petals. Sage growls in anger at this as Angel Pink quickly
jumps out of bed, dashed to the window, breaks it open, and jumps out. She lands gracefully on
the ground below just as Pumyra and Bengali meet her out side.
"Let's get out of here," Angel Pink said, leading the way into the woods. Sage had found his way
to the window just in time to see their forms disapear into the woods.
"It's not going to be so easy to escape this time my dear," he said and left the same way she
did but used his powers to float down to the ground below.

Back in the woods, Bengali & Pumyra followed Angel Pink through the woods on an off beaten path.
Even though they hardly made any sounds, one could hear them running as fast as they could
through the dark woods, their only light beings the slim crescent in the sky.
"Where are we going?" Pumyra asked.
"There's a natural portal not far from here. But it's out in the middle of a fairly large
feild," Angel Pink.
"Growl! But if we go into that feild..." Bengali started.
"I know Bengali, but I can't just give into him...not while he's in that state," Angel Pink
said, a tone of sadness to her voice. The rest of the run was silent. Then they finally made it
to the feild but Angel had them stay in the dark woods to catch their breath.
"I don't think he followed us...but all the same, I want you two to stay in here while I go
open the portal," Angel Pink said. The two Thundercats looked at her like she was crazy.
"no! I won't have any arguement about this. He's after me and not you two. I'm not going to
take any chances and get you two killed...Lion-O would have my head if I did," Angel Pink said
with a smirk and got up. Angel carefully looked around the semi lit feild and cautiously
walked out into it. While keeping her senses open, she began to silently chant sonething in
some long dead lanuage that the gods had taught her and the portal began to open.
"There you are!" came a shout. Angel Pink spun around and was tackled from behind. The wind
was blown out of her as her back slid against the cold ground. She opened her eyes as the
pain still seared in her body and saw that it was Sage. He looked down at her with this great
look of triumph on his face, as if this little game of cat and mouse was over with.
"Now, to seal it with a kiss," Sage said and began to move to kiss Angel Pink when he was
attacked from behind.
"What the fuck?" he cursed and looked to see Bengali and Pumyra in the feild, both had their
weapons out and stood in fight stance, Sage laughed at this as he got up on his knees but
kept Angel Pink pinned below himself.
"Well well well. Thundercats. Have you come to help Angel Pink?" Sage asked, the tone in his
voice making it seem as if it was a big joke.
"Get off her Sage," Pumyra warned, narrowing her eyes. Sage laughed lightly at this.
"Or what will you do? Scratch me?" Sage asked. His answer was an combined attack that forced
him off Angel Pink. She took this chance to get away from Sage and over to the two Thundercats.
"I thought I told you to stay in the woods," Angel Pink said under her breath.
"We couldn't just stand by and let him kill you," Benglai said. Sage stood up and looked at
them all with a look that made their blood run cold.
"You will pay for that," Sage said, as his eyes slowly turned blood red. Angel Pink gulped as
the ground beneath them trembled and vines bursted out of the ground, grabing them all and
holding them in a crusifix position.
"This is what it means to defy me," Sage said, and he glowed dark energy and hsi hair began
to raise with the energy. The same energy glowed in the vines but shocked the three like
electricity and thie rcries of pain could be heard throughout the woods, startling the sleeping
animlas and making them scamper or fly away from their resting places. Sgae smiled as he watched
the three writhe in pain.
"Soon, your power and soul will be mine," Sage said, hsi eyes fixed on Angel Pink now.
"Cyclone Enfirno!" shouted a new voice and Sage looked just in time as he was engulf in a
whilwind of fire. While he was being turned into a crispy critter, the shock treatment stopped
and the vines let go of Benglai, Pumyra, & Angel Pink. The three looked to see Sophia, who
was in her angel form and was glowing red with anger. Sage broke free from the fire and gasped
when he saw her.
"You!" he shouted in a shocked voice as Sophia took out her soul sword.
"If you want to get to Angel Pink you'll have to get through me bastard," Sophia said.
"Fine by me," Sage said, taking out his own sword and advancing first. Sophia met his advance
and stood her ground.
"I will enjoy cutting the flesh from your bones and drinking your blood like wine," Sage said
with a savage smile.
"Noone will die tonight bub," Sophia said as she forced him back and struck back. Angel Pink
and the two Thundercats could only watch the sowrd fight in awe. The two were strong fighters
and their blades sparked when they made contact with each other.
"It's time to end this. Portals Open!" Sophia shouts.
"What!" Sgae shouts and sees a many portals open in the feild.
"Angel! Pick one and leave!" Sophia shouts, as she fights Sage.
"No!" Sage shouts, and tries to go after Angel Pink but Sophia won't let him.
"But..."
"NO BUTS NOW GO!" Sophia shouts. Angel picks one that by Benglai and jumps into it. As soon
as she's in, the portal closes and is replaced by a new one. But becuase Sage is so enraged,
he doesn't sense the change in portals. Sophia smiles and soon stnads down.
"You going to fight me or go after you're girlfreind?" Sophia asked, with a dark smile. Sage
looks at this in surprise then at the many portals around him. He moans as he takes a guess and
goes into one near Pumyra. Once he's gone, all the portals close. Sophia sighs happily at this
and powers down. Once back in her noramel state, she collasps to her knees.
"Sophia!" Benglai and Pumyra shout, dashing over to her.
"I'm allright, I just used a bit to much energy opening all those portals," Sophia said, as they
helped her up. Even so, she still leaned on Pumyra.
"Are you crazy? He could be in the same relam as her right now," Benglai said.
"No. The portal Angel Pink went into closed and was replaced by a new one. He has lost her...for
now," Sophia said.
"And now it's time that we return you three to 3rd Earth," Chronos said. With a wave of his hand,
he opens an portal under the three and they are swept back to 3rd Earth where Angela, Snarf,
and Lion-o were waiting for them.
"Oh gods! Sophia!" Angela gasped and went over to her. Sophia moans at this but allows them
to help her to a chair.
"What happened?" Lion-o asked.
"We were taken to a realm where Angel Pink was and got into a cronfrimation with Sage," Benglai
said.
"But Sophia used a little too much power to slip Angel Pink out of that realm and save our
hides," Pumyra said. Angela looked at Sophia.
"You did?" Angela asked. Sophia just nodded at this.
"I'm so glad that you're allright," Angela said embracing her charge, friend, and lover.
Sophia sighed happily at this. Everyone had been broughthome safely and their adventure
was over with...for now.
