Up in space Panthro and Snarfer had successfully rescued the Thunderian escape pod.  A female red tiger was now sitting in the middle back seat of the Feliner.  She was wearing a green dress that was thigh length and had one one-quarter-length sleeve.  A brown pouch was set on her waist and she carried a green bolo whip.  Her red hair was set in a high ponytail that branched into two tufts of shoulder length, striped mane.  Her green eyes glistened as she stared down at Third Earth.  It was so beautiful.

"So," Panthro said.  She jerked out of her thoughts. "What is your name?" He asked.

"My name is Kiara." She said in a silky feminine voice.

"Nice to meet you Kiara.  My name is Panthro.  And this is Snarfer." Panthro said merrily.

"Good to meet ya Kiara, snarfer snarfer." Snarfer said in his hyper manner.

"How old are you Kiara?" Panthro asked.

"I am 23." She answered.

"That's great." Panthro said.  "Chetania and Lion-o are 23 also.  You should get along well.  Do you have any family?"

But he never got an answer.  At that moment the Thundercat symbol streaked through space and hovered above Third Earth.  Panthro's eyes glowed gold.

"The Thundercat symbol!" he yelled.  "The others are in trouble.  Hold on you two."  His fingers danced across the control panel and the Feliner shot off towards the source of the symbol.  They entered the atmosphere and immediately saw the problem.  Billowing black smoke was coming form the forest.  Panthro cursed under his breath.

"Snarfer, activate the fire dusting system." Panthro said as he flew over the flames.  Snarfer pushed a large green button and red dust fell over the flames, extinguishing them immediately.  He turned around and saw Lion-O, Bengali, Chetania, Willa, Nayda, and Juna racing back towards the Tree Top Kingdom.

"Lets follow them and find out what's going on." Panthro said.

The Feliner followed the group as they ran through the trees.  After ten minutes they emerged into the village.  They all stopped to catch their breath.  Lion-O looked up and saw the Feliner coming in for a landing.  The three Thundercats hopped into an elevator and went down to meet Panthro and Snarfer.  The Feliner touched down safely.  The hub opened and Panthro and Snarfer jumped out.

"Are you three alright?" Panthro asked as he looked at their flushed faces.

"We're fine." Lion-O said.  "You got here just in time.  Did you get the refugee?" he asked.

"As a matter of fact we did." Panthro said.  "Come on out Kiara."

Kiara jumped out and walked over to them.  She looked up at them.  Her eyes widened.  "Bengali!!" she shouted.  She ran over to him.

"Kiara!!" He yelled back.  He swung her around and gave her a hug.  "I thought I'd never see you again." He said as he hugged her.

"Bengali, you're squishing me." She said playfully.  He let go of her and looked at the others.  "Guys, this is my cousin Kiara.  She's Tygra's cousin too."

They all smiled at her.

"Where is Tygra?" Kiara asked.

"He's back at the Lair." Panthro said.  "Let me introduce you to the others. This is Chetania."  Chet gave a little wave.  "And this is Lion-O, Lord of the Thundercats" Panthro finished.

"Nice to meet you Kiara." Lion-O said.

"Lion-O!!" Willa yelled.  "The men have broken out of their village.  They are headed this way."

"Snarfer, take Kiara to the Lair in the Feliner.  Get Tygra.  Tell him to in the Hovercat and you take the Thunderclaw.  Kiara stay at the lair.  Bengali, go to the Thunderstrike and call the Tower.  Tell the Thunderkittens to get here quickly.  Panthro and Chet will come with me and help the Warrior Maidens until the others get here." Lion-O commanded.

"Thundercats HOOOO!" They shouted and ran off.

Snarfer and Kiara jumped into the Feliner and raced off towards Cats Lair. When they arrived they ran inside and into the control room.  Tygra was sitting at the panel running a scan.  He turned around when they came in.

"Kiara!!" he yelled.  He ran over and hugged her.

"Tygra, it is so good to see you, but we have no time." Kiara said.

"Tygra, we have to get to the Tree Top Kingdom fast.  The men have broken free and we need to help the Warrior Maidens fight them." Snarfer said.

"Right, Kiara you stay here.  Let's go Snarfer." Tygra said.

But, before they reached the door Cheetara and Pumyra walked in.

"Cheetara, what are you doing out of bed?" Tygra asked.

"Pumyra and I are coming with you.  We need all the help we can get to fight the men.  I have regained my strength.  Please let us help." Cheetara said. She did sound and look much stronger.  She was standing on her own.

"She has made an amazing recovery." Pumyra said.  "She shows no signs of weakness.  She is 100% healthy."

"Alright, let's go." Tygra shouted.

Snarf came into the control room.  "What is all this racket?" he asked.

"Oh good Snarf you're here.  This is my cousin Kiara.  Will you show her around?  We have to go help Lion-O.  We should be back soon." Tygra said.

Snarf nodded and Tygra, Cheetara, Pumyra, and Snarfer raced towards the hangar.  Tygra and Cheetara hopped onto the Thunderclaw and Pumyra and Snarfer hopped into the Hovercat.  They reached the Tree Top Kingdom in a matter of minutes.  Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat were already there, riding their spaceboards.  It was absolute pandemonium on the ground.  There were about a hundred men.  Many fought on the ground, but some hung in the trees with bows and arrows.  The Warrior Maidens were firing their arrows; Lion-O was using the Sword of Omens to fight Kraiken and his sword.  Panthro was grappling with Tyron, their muscles bulging as they matched pure strength against pure strength.  Bengali was using the Hammer of Thundera to fight the ground troops.  Chetania was racing through the trees.  She was running circles around the scouts.  The fastest men were no match for the speedy cheetah. The kittens were taking care of the archers.  Their smoke pellets surrounded the men in thick wafts of dark smoke.

Everything seemed to be in favor of the Warrior Maidens and the Thundercats. The men noticing this began to retreat, every man except Kraiken.  He took a step backwards and closed his eyes.  The skies began to darken.  Everyone stopped what they were doing.  Kraiken began to laugh.

"The time has come to unleash the powers of Dimian." He yelled.  He held up the sword and white light shot from it.  It hit the ebony clouds and they began to swirl.

"This cannot be good." Snarfer whispered.
