Starlight Warrriors
3) Truth Be Told

Bengali, Pumyra, and Cheetara come back to the Lair to find that Sophia had been seriousaly
hurt in her fight with ALluor and RedEye.
"So, the Lunatacs have FireStar," Bengali said. musing over the turn of events.
"And the Mutants have WaterStar," Eon said.
"And it looks as if Mummra is helping them," Wiley Kat said. There was an ominous silence
in the room after that.

In the Unicorn Forest.
Tygra, Panthro, and Lion-O were with the Unicorn Keepres, filling them in on what was
happeing.
"So, that's what fell from the sky," the lady said.
"You know where ti is?" Panthro asked.
"Yes. Come, we'll take you to it," the man said. The two led the three to a small clearing nearby. In the middle was the pink starlight sapphire. Even from that disatnce, they could
see that HeartStar was still alseep inside.
"Its odd though," the lady said.
"What is?" Lion-o asked.
"When the gem landed, this feild became barren. And then everything began to regrow as the
gem glowed," the man said.
"And from what you told us, it contradicts was has happened," the lady said. The three Thundercats looked at each other when they heard just as there was a greatv blast from
above. Everyone looked up to see Mummra in his ever living form.
"You two stay back, we'll deal with him," Lion-o said, drawing out his sword as Mummra landed
on the gournd. The two went to the edge of the woods where a young unicorn stood, agitated.
"What is wrong wiht her?"the man asked.
"I don't know, but she's been saying that a voice has been calling to her form the gem ever
since it landed," the lady said. There was an slgiht explosion and they all looked back to
the field to see the fight going on.
"You will never have that gem Mummra," Lion-O said.
"I have the other two so I might as well have this one to," Mummra said. When he was close enough, he tried to grab it. But a blast from Lion-o's sword and a shock from the gem detered him.
"You'll pay for that cub," Mummra said, fighitng back. While Mummra was distracted the young unicron dashed out onto the feild.
"Wait!" the lady shouts but the unicorn doesn't hear her. Everything seems to move in slow
motion as the fihgt seems to revolve around the unicorn. None of the blasts or attacks harms
her as she makes her way to the gem. Once there, she nuzzles the gem and the forest is filled with a bright pink light.

In the Lair and Tower, all sensors are going wild. LynxO's face soon shows up on comunications.
"Lair, are you getting these readings?" he asked.
"yes, it's like some major power was unleashed," Benglai said. Angela's eyes went wide open
right then.
"Angela, what's wrong?" Snarf asked, and everyone turned to her.
"She's awake?"
"What do you mean she's wake?" LynxO asked.
"HeartStar," Angela simply said as the Eye of Thundera appeared in the sky.
"Lion-O is calling us," Cheetara said.
"We'll stay here and protect the place," Eon said. Angela nodded firmly.
"Thanks. LEt's go," Pumyra said as she and the other Thundercats left.

Back in the woods, the lgihts are fadding and Tygra can see that Lion-o has called the other Thundercats.
"Why did you do that?" he asked.
"I don;t know. SOmething...or someone told me I had to," Lion-o said, confussed.
"I had you call them," said a female voice. Eveyone looked and saw that HeartStar stood
where the gem once was. She wore a fantastic outfit of a touga like dress, knee high
leggings, and ballet like shoes that were all pink. Her hair once short hair was now long
and was now in two braids behind her ears. It was apparent that she had gotten older...and
a body!
"I see you have been reborn," Mummra said. HeartStar just nods at this and turns to the
unicorn.
"I have been waiting for a long time for an innocent heart to wake me from my cold sleep.
I thank you little one," HeartStar said, bowing to the unicorn. Mummra's jaw dropped.
"YOU'RE GOOD?" he exclaimed.
"Yes, we have found our cure and have been reborn," HeartStar said.
"Ugh. Even so, you're coming with me," Mummra said. HeartStar shoes the unicorn back to its keepers. Mumrma gets anooyed and tries to hurt but Heart puts up an sheild to protect it.
"Over my dead bosy," she said.
"That can be arranged," he said and began a fight with her as the other Thundercats arrived.
"What's going on?" Wiley Kit asked.
"HeartStar is awake and on our side," Panthro said.
"Really?" Kat asked.
"See for your self," Tygra said, gesturing to the hand to hand fight up in the air.
Heart sees that all the Thundercats are there and decides to ewnd the fight.
"Internal Heart Attack!" she shouts. Her right hand glows and she hits it on Mummra's signis.
He wails as her power seeps through him and atatcks him from the inside out, weakening him. He quickly makes his escape while he can. Heart smiles at this and floats back to the ground, turning to the the Thundercats.
"We have to hurry if we want to save Fire and Water," she said.
"What's the hurry?"
"Are they still in their gem form?" Heart asked.
"Yes."
"Then Mummra can use their powers against us," Heart said.
"But...you..."
"I'll explain on the way. Lewt's go!" Heart said, hurring them to their vehicals.

Back at the Black Pyramid, Mummra returns to the safty of his home as the spell Heart used
wears off. He breaths deeply as Luna and Slithe loko on wiht worry.
"What happened?" Luna finally asked, starling him a bit.
"HeartStar has awaken and used her greastes attack on me," Mummra said.
Slithe's eyes grew wide when he heard this.
"If the guys were to awake..." he started.
"But thwy won't. They lake what is needed to wake up her on 3rd Earth. And while they
sleep, I can tap into the gems and use theirs powers agianst the Thundercats and their
comrade," Mummra said with a wicked grin. The same grin spreads on Luna's and Slithe's
faces as well.

In the Thundertank, Heart sits near the cojm system so everyone can hear her story.
"After we were exiled from Earth, we drifted around from one dimension to the next looking
for the one who had the power to cleanse out souls. Then, we came across this realm that was
the source of everything and we were finally cleansed," Heart said. Angela and Eon looked at
each other when she said that.
"After our rebirht, we were placed back in our gems to tell the good news to our people.
But, this planet has changed and they are all gone now," Heart ended sadly.
"You had said that it took an innocent heart to wake you, did you not?" Lynxo asked.
"Yes. Firestar would hava waken if he had gotten to enough fire," Heart said.
"And WtaerStar?" Pumyra asked.
"To water that sparkles like diamond," Haet said, with a smile.
"Idd, he didn't wake when he went into the River of Sorrow," Bengali said. Heart raised an eybrow.
"River of what?" she asked. Wiley kat explained it ot her and she sighed.
"Things really have changed. I don't understand why those guys didn't wake up," Heart said, musing over that fact as they came to the Black Pyramid.
"Stand on your guard guys," Heart said, instanlly senseing that something wasn't right. The
cats looked around warrily and two glints of lgith came from the pyramid. Everyone was attcked
by fire and water!
"Oh gods no," Heart said, knowing that it was FireStar and WaterStar's powers. Soon, they
heard a laugh as Mummra came out in his presit form.
"How do you like my new powers Thundercats?" he asked with a grin. Heart galred atb him.
'HOW DARE YOU USE THE SACRED POWE ROF THE STARS LIKE THAT!" she screamed at him, startling
the Thundercats. Mummra just laughed.
"Just a little payback for what you did to me," Mummra said and attacked again. Heart could
see that Fire and Water were not happy about the way Mummra was suing their powers.
"I have to wake them up," Jearts aid.
"How?" Lion-o said. Heart thought quickly.
"I have an idea, but you'll have to distract him while I do this," Heart said. The others
nodded and Heart quickly made her way up to Mummra. When she was about five feet away from
him, she took a deep breath and cupped her hands aorund her mouth.
"Wake up!" she shouts. Everyone frozze and looked at her she was crazy.
"That's your plan?" Panthro asked, cynacal. Heart grimaced att his as the the gems glowed in Mummra's hand and burned him. He shouts with pain as she dropped themin the sand. Red and Blue light fills the area. Soon, two malkes forms are seen as the light fads. Everyone gasps to see FireStar and WaterStar standing where the gaems had once been.

Like HeartStar they to had gotten make overs. FireStar has his hair in crew cut now. He wore
a black leather jacket and black pants with army over his no legging and sleves red bodysuit. While WaterStar simply wore white sneakers, shorts, and vest over his blue body suit. The two guys yawned and streched as they stood there.
"Gods Heart, cvould you be any louder?" Fire asked, anoyed.
"Well, if someboby woke up like they were supose to. I wouldn't have had to yelled like that," Heart said, putting her hands on her hips.
"I still can't believe I slept in liek that. I must of really been asleep to not wake up in
that
river...but it felt so ncie in there," Water said with a smile. Heart groaned at this.
"Excuse me, fight going on," Heart said.
"Oh yet," Fire said.
"That's right," Water said and they both turned to Mummra, their eyes glowing.
Mummra gulped when he saw that look, knowing already that he was in toruble.
"For using the sacred powers of the stars against good," Fire said, fire sparking aroudn
him.
"We are going to personally punish you," Water said, wtaer swirling belwo him.
"Guys, mayeb we can talk this over?" Mummra asked. The Thundercats rasied an eybrow to this.
"Water Torment!" Water said, creating and torent of water to attack Mummra.
"Fire Hurrican!" Fire shouts, creating an hurrican of fire. The teo powers combined and
attack Mummra, sweeping him back into the pyramid where evreyone hears his cries of pain.
"I think it's time to go," Fire said, turning away from the pyramid.
"Yeah, this place is giving me the creeps," Water said with a shiver. The Thundercats just
ooked on with wide eyes.
"What?" the two guys asked. The Thundercats just moan as they leave.

Back at the Lair, everyone had gathered to say good bye.
"Do you have to go?" Sophia asked, who was out of the infarmy and sitting in a chair for this.
"Yes. This planet doesn't need our protection...seing as how all of you are here," Heart said.
FireStar snorts.
"More like our powers will probebly do more harm then good here by the way they reacted to our combined attack," he said, laughing. Heart galred at him and and went quiet.
"Do you want them to fear us?" she asked.
"No, I..."
"Then don't say things like that." Fire sighed in defeat. This received a few light lauhgs
from the others.
"Well, we should get going," Water said. During a round of9 goodbyes, HeartStar went over to
Eon and Sophia.
"The red string between you two is storng. I sugest you look further into your relationship," HeartStar whispered to them. They gasped att hsi as she stepped back. Once they were ready,
the three Starlight Warriors joins hands and turned into pure starlight. They flew thorugh
the air, phased through the building, and took to the stars once more in search of a plaent
who needed their protection.

Later, Sophia and Eon were alone in the Mansion of Time, in the living room.
"Eon," Sophia said. Eon looked at her.
"Yes?"
"Do you think she was right...about us?" Sophia asked.
"Yes."
"Really?" Eon nodds.
"Back on Firerock Mountain, when I saw how badly y0ou were hurt...I thought I was going to
losse you...I couldn't bear that,": Eon said. Sophia smiles at this.
"And after all this,m i see nwo that I love you Sophia," Eon said and kissed her. Angela
happened to walk by and saw this. She stops in her tracks and parently smile spreads across
her face. Destiny was fianlly fulling itself withthose two and Angela was happy to see that Sophia has found her soul mate.
