Parts 58-60
Part 58
The night before they were due back at court so Judge Tatiana could give her verdict, Panthro, Tygra, and Cheetara had a conference in Cheetara's room. Tygra was upset that Cheetara would confess her love for Lion-O and not him in the courthouse. He couldn't believe that after all she has been through that she still loved Lion-O.
"Come on, Cheetara, there's has to be more than what you're saying," Tygra said.
"No, Tygra, there isn't. I told you that I love Lion-O and our child. I understand that you are upset, but we weren't meant to be together. You know that." Cheetara told him.
"What were you thinking? Didn't you know that being in contact with Lion-O , especially kissing him will cause the trial for you?" Tygra asked.
"I was thinking with my heart. Something I haven't been doing in a long time," she said quietly, softly.
"Cheetara, I'm happy for you telling Lion-O you love him but you made a bad move doing what you did last night," Panthro said.
"It wasn't your heart you were listening to, but lust," Tygra mumbled.
"What did you say, Tygra?" Cheetara asked.
*****
Leela sat in her bed reading. She spent most of the day avoiding everyone. Tygra was the only one who talked to her, but he was mainly arguing with her at Leela's interrogating him the day before and almost blowing his cover. Tygra thought Lion-O and Cheetara would confront him about it but they were busy thinking about their day in court to be confronted by it. She didn't care what he had to say anyway. If everything went according to her plan, she wouldn't have to see him anymore either. A soft knock came to her door.
"Come in," she said although she was surprised that someone wanted to talk to her.
Lion-O entered. "Leela, I want to talk to you about the trial."
"What about it?"
"I want you to drop the charges you have on Cheetara," Lion-O commanded.
"I told her I would drop the charges if she plea guilty," Leela rejected Lion-O's order.
"Cheetara isn't guilty of anything."
"In my book, she is."
"If you drop the charges, I'll give you something you always wanted."
"And what would that be?" Leela asked closing her book.
Lion-O sighed. He didn't want to do it, but he knew it had to be done. "Me."
Leela laughed. "I already have you. See?" she flaunts her wedding ring.
"You don't have me in the way you want. I'll sleep with you and give you a baby that we will claim as our heir," Lion-O said feeling guilty and sick once the words left his mouth.
Leela's mouth almost fell to the floor. She never thought Lion-O would say something like that to her.
"You love her that much?"
"She is my life," Lion-O said seriously.
Leela ignored that comment from Lion-O and let a wicked smile crept her face as she threw her book somewhere in the room and pull the covers off her. "Well, as they say, 'Let's get it on.' "
*****
WilyKit and WilyKat kept to themselves as the trial consumed the Thundercats. WilyKat has notice his sister has been more quiet than usual especially after their practice fight with Panthro. Annoyed that his sister was keeping something from him, he asked.
"Okay, sis, what's up. Why are you so quiet? You look like you have been in another world here at Cat's Lair and at the courthouse."
WilyKit stopped looking out the window and looked at her brother. She knew he had to know. After all, he's apart of this. "WilyKat," she begin softly, "Do you remember seeing a woman when we were two years old."
"You mean mom?" WilyKat asked.
"No. Another woman that's not related to us. A female panther."
WilyKat thought for a moment. "Um, no. Why?"
WilyKit reached in her pocket. Earlier that day, while Panthro wasn't in his room, WilyKit snuck in his room, went into his closet and pulled out the box where she found the picture of Aline. She took the picture, put everything as it were and left his room. She handed it to her brother. "I found this in Panthro's room while I was looking for a weapon to use against him when he had that match. When I saw the picture, I had a flashback when I was a little girl. I remember seeing her."
WilyKat stared at the picture. "No, I don't remember her, but you better put this back before Panthro finds it missing."
"I'm not worried about that. Maybe we should asked our aunt about this woman after the trial tomorrow. She might know something."
"Something like what, Kit. Come on. Spill. You have been thinking about this for a while. Would you mind letting me in on it?"
She sighed before quietly stating, "I'm thinking that Panthro knows something about our parents death."
*****
Tygra cleared his throat. "I'm just thinking out loud."
"Too loud," an angry Panthro commented.
"Panthro, could you excuse us? I need to talk to Tygra alone," Cheetara requested. Suddenly her sixth sense bothered her. "Could you find Lion-O. I have a bad feeling about him right now."
Panthro nodded and left but not without giving Tygra a dark glare.
When Panthro left, Cheetara spoke. "I deserved that, Tygra. I know you are upset and I understand. You're my closest friend who foolishly fell in love with the wrong person. I'm so sorry you have to suffer this heartbreak. You don't deserve it, but you must understand that I'm in love with Lion-O."
"I think you are the one who is blind, Cheetara. You think you are in love with him because you are carrying his child, but it's not love. Infatuation, lust, maybe, but not love. It's a good thing we're alone right now because I have talked to Leela and I know a way you can stay here," Tygra said taking his hands in hers and gently squeezing it.
Cheetara eyes lit up. "You thought of a way to get me to stay? What is it?"
"Marry me."
*****
Lion-O rolled on top of Leela, kissing her, trying to get himself to make love to her, but he was finding it hard to with a cold person like Leela. Leela anxiously tried to pull off his clothes as she wrapped herself around his body. Lion-O soon started thinking about Cheetara and making love to her. That seem to help him a little, but he couldn't do. He pulled himself off Leela.
"No, I can't do it. I can't bring a child into a loveless marriage."
Leela got up and begin kissing Lion-O's neck. "Of course there's love. I love you."
Lion-O pushed Leela off him. "But I don't love you," he said straightening his clothes.
A red curl fell in front of Leela's face as she form a distorted and furious look. "If you leave now, then there is no chance that Cheetara will be here tomorrow night."
Lion-O stood up. "I think she will win. I have faith."
Leela scoffed. "You're going to need a lot more than that to win."
Lion-O ignored Leela's comment and left the room. After he closed the door, he leaned on it. "What a mistake that could've been."
"Lion-O," Panthro called as he walked to him. "What's wrong?"
"I almost made a terrible mistake."
"Well, you can tell me as we go see Cheetara," Panthro said.
*****
WilyKat looked at his sister confused. "You think Panthro knows something about our parents death. Like what?"
"The killer or killers maybe."
"Why do you think that and why wouldn't he tell us if he knew?"
WilyKit hugged herself nervously. "Well, in the past, Panthro has tried to get us to forget about our parents, especially when I wanted Cheetara to use her powers. Strange how I am just now noticing this. Panthro might not want us to know to protect us or maybe he knows who killed our parents."
"I never thought about it like that."
"You never think about anything serious, Kat," Kit teased.
"Ha. Ha," Kat said dryly. "If you're right, then our aunt may not know. Do you think we could ask Cheetara to use her vision to find out who killed our parents?" WilyKat asked.
"We can't ask Cheetara that. She has enough problems of her own."
"You're right. We're on our own," Kat said gloomily.
WilyKit eyes lit up. "Hey, I got an idea. We'll take the box out of Panthro's room and look through it some more to see if it can tell us anything."
"That's stealing, Kit."
An innocent smile appeared on the young woman's face. "No, it's borrowing. I'll get it tomorrow morning before we go to court and return it before Panthro realizes it's missing and if he does find it missing, he's not going to think we took it."
"I still don't know." Kat said doubtfully.
"Don't worry, Kat. No one will find out."
*****
Cheetara stepped back. "Marry you? I can't marry you. How could you ask me that knowing how I feel for Lion-O?"
"If we marry, Leela promised to drop the charges," Tygra said.
"As tempting as that may be, I can't. I can't marry someone I don't love and you know it too, Tygra." Cheetara pointed out.
"But I do love you," Tygra said sincerely.
"As a friend, I know,"
Tygra looked at Cheetara confused. "Friend?"
Cheetara put her hands on her hips. "I think I know why you are doing this, saying you love me and all that. At first, I thought that you did love me, but after thinking about it, I realized that you don't. You did this to help me get over Lion-O and to put Lion-O closer to Leela. A very good plan. I wished you let me in on it, instead of having me feel so guilty about cheating on you," Cheetara pointed out and let a sigh of relief. She gave him a hug. "Thank you for all you've tried to do, but I guess it was inevitable that I will always love Lion-O," she pulled back to look at his confused and stunned face, "And you, my friend, overplayed kissing me."
"I-I, uh, I did."
"Yes, but I forgive you."
How can she not see that I love her? I'll think of a way. Tygra thought.
Panthro came in with Lion-O, although he was confused with the smile on Cheetara's face and why she was in Tygra's arms. "Let's go, Tygra. These two need to talk alone."
Tygra reluctantly pulled away from Cheetara and left with Panthro.
"What do you have to tell me, Lion-O?"
Lion-O explained to Cheetara what he had almost did with Leela.
"I understand and I'm glad you came to your senses. Still, I believe that we will be together somehow. Isn't that what you told me? Countless times?" Cheetara laughed and through her arms around him letting him wrap his arms around her.
"I've been thinking about this trial for a while. If the judge finds you guilty and banishes you from Thundera, then I'm going to resign as Lord of the Thundercats and leave with you."
Cheetara looked at him. "Lion-O, no. You can't do that."
"I want to be with you and our child no matter what."
"Who will rule Thundera?"
"I'll pass it to Tygra. He's second-in-command."
Cheetara shook her head. "No, I can't let you do that."
"And I can't let you be banished from Thundera, left to raise our child on your own," he said putting a hand on her stomach.
"It's getting late. I think I'll go to sleep. Goodnight."
Before he left, he gave Cheetara and soft hug. Cheetara pulled the covers over her as she got in bed, even more troubled about the judge's decision tomorrow.
Part 59
Cheetara lied in bed all night without getting any sleep. She couldn't let Lion-O give up his title for her and their child. If it was just her, she wouldn't care, but two other people who loved so much was involved and she couldn't let them be harm. At first light, she took a shower and dressed. She walked around the lair as if she would never see it again. Finally, she entered the council room. The morning light was not only bright but mesmerizing. Fascinated, she walked to the window and witnessed the sun bath the planet in its morning glow.
Looking at her watch, she saw it was 6 am. Three hours. Three hours until I know if I am guilty or not. I have to prove Leela's wrong and I only have three hours to do it. Time is definitely not on my side.
Lion-O and Panthro entered the room next. It was obvious that they couldn't sleep either. "Cheetara? What are you doing up? You should be sleeping," Lion-O said.
Cheetara turned around and saw them. "I'll be back. I'll meet you at the courthouse."
"Wait. Where are you going?" Lion-O asked.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine," Cheetara said running down the hall.
When she wasn't in earshot, Lion-O told Panthro, "Panthro, I want you to follow her."
Panthro nodded and left. He ran into WilyKit in the hall.
"Where are you going, Panthro?"
"Cheetara left. I'm going to follow her so she will be safe," Panthro told Kit and left her standing in the hall.
"Hmm. With Panthro gone, I can sneak into his room." WilyKit went into Panthro's room. His weapon door was locked so WilyKit used a bobby pin to opened it. She unlocked the hidden floor and took out the black box. Putting everything as it was before, WilyKit left his room and ran to her room. She saw her brother sleeping on his bed. He had already got dressed to go to court but went back to sleep. She pushed him awake. "Wake up, WilyKat. I got Panthro's box."
Sleepily, WilyKat got up. "What? You got it already?"
"Yep. Panthro's left the lair," she said sitting on the floor and opening the box. "Now help me find something."
WilyKat got on the floor with her and took out some pictures. "Picture. Picture. Picture. What's this?" He asked holding a white envelope. He opens it and begin reading. 'Panthro, we kidnapped your fiancée, Aline. If you want to see her again, meet us at the Evergreen Forest, midnight tonight.'
"Let me see that," Kit said snatching the letter from her brother. She read the note and looked under her bed, pulling out a brown box.
"What's in there?" WilyKat asked.
"Aunt Vasa gave us letters that our parents sent to each other," she looked through the box and pulled out two letters her parents wrote. "Look. Panthro's letter matches the one our mother wrote. She and dad kidnapped Aline, his fiancée, but why?"
*****
Cheetara landed the Thunderclaw in the Gardens of Thundera. She walked towards the huge water fountain. Being there, helped her relaxed and think. "Leela can't be perfect. She's hiding something, I know." Cheetara begin thinking back to her last court date.
Leela leaned closer and smile. "We all have secrets, my dear. It's a shame yours were exposed."
"Since you know my secret, why don't you tell me yours?" Cheetara asked.
Leela's happy face vanished and a dark one appeared. Her voice was bitterly cold when she said, "And ruin everything I have now? Never. I've done too much to have you ruin my life and take everything away from me that I so deserve."
"Done too much? Leela, Lion-O was born engaged to you. Your title was practically handed to you.....wasn't it?" Cheetara was now getting suspicious. (57)
"Leela has a secret that could ruin her. It must be from her past. She never really talked about it, I know. It's my only chance."
Cheetara walked to the center of the garden. She begin spinning around, summoning her psychic powers, focusing on Leela's past.
Panthro landed the HoverCat and walked in. He saw Cheetara spinning around. "What is she doing?"
Cheetara suddenly stopped. Visions of Leela's past flashed before her mind and she saw Leela's secret. "I don't believe it." Cheetara said shocked, falling weak. "That's her secret. I..know..what..it is. I know what it is," she said faintly before collapsing on the ground.
"Cheetara," Panthro called. "Cheetara!" Panthro yelled as he ran to her. He picked up her upper body and gently tapped her face. "Cheetara, wake up." Cheetara's eyes opened and rolled back. "Come on, Cheetara. Wake up."
*****
Lion-O knocked on the door and the twins put everything under their beds before Lion-O opened the door. He looked at them as if they were doing something they weren't suppose to. "What are you two doing?"
"Nothing," they said innocently.
"When you two sound like that, I know you are up to something, but I don't have time to think about it. Are you two ready to go to the courthouse? Panthro and Cheetara are meeting us there."
"We're ready," the twins said together as they got up and left the room with their leader.
"I hope Judge Tatiana doesn't find Cheetara guilty," WilyKat said.
"I hope she does. In fact, I know she will," Leela said meeting them in the hall, smiling brightly. "Good morning, everyone," she saw their angry faces. "Ooh. Tough room. Cheer up. This is a happy day!"
"Happy day for you," WilyKit said. "I'm keeping a positive outlook and think the judge would find Cheetara innocent."
Leela growled lowly and the young Thundercat. Hmm maybe I will tell them that Panthro murdered their parents. He did tell me I could do so after all.
*****
Panthro continued to lightly shake Cheetara, getting her to wake up. After minutes of worry and yelling at her, Cheetara awakened.
Her eyes fluttered opened. "Panthro? What are you doing here?"
"Never mind that. Are you all right?"
Cheetara leaned on Panthro as she stood up. "I..I think so." Suddenly she remembered why she was here. "Her secret I know her secret."
"What are you talking about? What secret? Whose secret?" Panthro asked.
"Leela. I know her secret. I know what's she has been hiding, what could ruin her. Why didn't I think of it sooner? It's so obvious now."
"What? What is? What's her secret?"
"There's no time to explain. We must get to the courthouse before the judge makes her decision," she ran to the Thunderclaw and flew off. Confused, Panthro hurried to the HoverCat and flew off behind her.
*****
Lion-O looked at the clock in the courtroom. Thirty minutes past nine. The reporters were waiting for Cheetara's arrival as well as everyone else since they were live and thought the verdict wouldn't take long.
Where are they? Lion-O thought.
Tatiana drummed her fingers wondering what was taking Cheetara so long for her arrival. "If everyone agrees, I'll give my verdict now."
"I don't agree," Lion-O, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat said.
"I agree," Leela said.
"That's four against one, Lady Leela. I'm sorry, but we must wait," Tatiana said. "They have until ten o' clock to get here. After that, I will read my verdict."
"It's okay. I can wait another half hour for Cheetara's banishment," Leela said confident of her victory.
Lion-O was about to say something, but Tygra nudged him, keeping him quiet. "Not now, Lion-O. What do you suppose is keeping them?"
"I don't know, Tygra. Cheetara just said that she had to leave but said she'll meet us at the courthouse. Panthro went to follow her. I hoped they weren't jumped by a mob or something."
Another thirty minutes passed. It was now ten. Judge Tatiana looked at the clock in the room and then at the doors. No one was coming she thought. "It's ten o'clock, Lord Lion-O. I'm sorry, but I must give my verdict.
Lion-O nodded his head understanding.
Outside, Cheetara landed the Thunderclaw and ran inside with super speed follow by Panthro, who landed right after her.
"In the trial of Lady Leela vs Cheetara, I find the defendant, Cheetara--"
Cheetara burst the doors opened. "NO! Don't read the verdict. I have new evidence that will change your mind."
Part 60
Cheetara walked in followed by Panthro to the front of the court. He took a seat next to Tygra as Cheetara walked to the bench. "May I, your honor. May I bring my new evidence to the court?"
"No! Don't let her!" Leela protested. "She had her chance."
"Cheetara has permission to bring her evidence to the court," Tatiana said.
Leela groaned and Cheetara smiled. "Thank you, your honor. Lion-O, may I borrow your Sword of Omens?"
Lion-O got of his seat and gave Cheetara his sword. "What are you doing?" Lion-O whispered.
"Winning this trial," she whispered back.
Lion-O sat back in his seat. "What's this new evidence?" he asked Panthro.
"I don't know. All she kept saying is that she knows Leela's secret and that it could ruin her."
Cheetara looked at everyone in the room, especially Leela before beginning. "I have psychic powers that enables me to look into the past. The Sword of Omens would prove to everyone here that I am telling the truth. I call Lady Leela to the stand."
Leela left her seat and went to the stand.
"Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth by the Code of Thundera?" the bailiff asked.
"Of course, I do," she smiled and sat down.
"Did you have any siblings?" Cheetara asked.
Leela looked at Cheetara surprised. "No."
"Liar. You had a sibling. In fact, you had a twin sister."
The Thundercats and reporters begin to murmur.
"You B--h. What do you know?" Leela snarled.
Cheetara smiled wickedly. "I know everything you did," she turned to the court. "Not to long ago, I used my psychic powers to look into Leela's past and it is surprising. It's true that Lion-O was engaged by birth to the first daughter born from Leela's parents but the problem was that Leela's mother gave birth to twin girls: Laura and Leela. Leela was the good twin and Laura was the bad twin."
"That's a surprise," Panthro grunted.
Cheetara continued. "Leela was nice, helpful, always thought of others before herself. Some say she was more beautiful because of her good qualities. Laura was mean, jealous, especially of Leela. It was no surprise that Leela would be chosen to be Lion-O's wife and that made Laura very angry. She wanted to be Lady of the Thundercats and had a plan to make that dream come true.
Two twin girls no older than ten were running and playing in the plains not to far from their house. Both girls had red curly hair. Laura wore a dark outfit and a black hat while Leela wore a yellow outfit. They stop playing when they saw a well. Both girls looked inside.
"Hey, Leela, do you think diamonds and other jewels are in the well?"
"I doubt it. Usually, you'd find coins in it because people make wishes," Leela said and noticed her sister leaning over. "You shouldn't lean over or your hat will fall."
Laura leaned over anyway and her hat fell to the bottom of the well.
"See? Don't worry, I'll get it for you," Leela said and climbed on the well and pulled the rope.
"I can't let you do that," Laura said.
"It's okay. I know you are claustrophobic," she handed Laura the rope. Leela got in the bucket. "Just let me down gently and I'll get your hat. When I tug on the rope, pull me up."
"Okay. Here we go," Laura said as she gently lowered the rope and Leela slowly went down into the well. When Laura thought Leela was halfway into the well, she let go of the rope. "Oops," she said innocently. She heard Leela screamed until there was a loud thump and Leela's voice was silenced. Laura pulled Leela back up in the bucket. She checked for a pulse and smiled when she didn't find one. Laura exchanged clothes with her sister and cut the rope, allowing her sister to fall back in the well. Laura fake some tears and ran home calling for parents. "Mom! Dad!"
Laura's parents ran out of their house. "What is it, Leela?" her mother asked.
"Laura fell in the well. I told her not to, but she went anyway. She wanted to get her hat after it fell into the well. I was lowering her down and the rope broke," she cried and her mother wiped away the tears.
"Her parents of course believed her because they thought she was the good girl, Leela. Until today, no one knew the truth. Isn't that right, Laura?" Cheetara concluded.
Laura's face was dark, distorted, worse than Mumm-Ra's when he's angry. "That's not true. She's lying."
"I hold the Sword of Omens. It didn't growl which means I was telling the truth."
Knowing no one will believe her now, she admitted the truth. "All right. I admit it. I am Laura. I killed my sister and took over her life. She got everything and I got nothing. It was time she paid for that. If she was alive, she would have been stupid and let you marry Lion-O instead of fighting what was hers."
"It still doesn't change my decision," Tatiana said.
"Ha!" Laura said victoriously.
"What?" Cheetara said surprised.
"I was going to rule in favor of you, Cheetara."
"What?!" Laura said stunned.
"Cheetara did not come between you and Lion-O. He never stopped loving Cheetara so your marriage was doomed from the beginning. If anything, you should charge your husband or your soon to be ex-husband since he's not suppose to be married to you on account of you killing your sister and taking her identity. Bailiff arrest Lady Laura on charges of murder and fraud," Judge Tatiana ordered and pounded her gavel.
"Your honor, may I say something before the bailiff take me away?" Laura asked.
"Go ahead," Tatiana gave her permission.
"Thank you," she looked at the judge and looked at everyone else. "If I go down, I'm taking my accomplice with me."
"Accomplice?" Cheetara said surprised.
"What?" Lion-O and the other Thundercats said in unison.
Tygra's eyes widen. "Oh, no," he whispered and his heart began to pound.
"Yes. Accomplice. Tygra."
"What?!" Everybody shouted and looked at Tygra.
"She's lying," Tygra said.
"Let me hold the sword and you'll see I'm telling the truth." Reluctantly Cheetara handed Laura the sword. "Where should I begin? Oh, yes. I know where. Tygra is hopelessly in love with you, Cheetara. He's been in love with you even before you were Thundercats, when you first dated."
Cheetara shouted stunned, "What?!"
"Oh, yes he is. He was jealous that you were dating Lion-O so he hired some ocelot to kill Lion-O with some grizzly cat, but you, Cheetara, had to take the bullet for your one and only. He had no choice but to save you because he wouldn't have saved Lion-O if he got hit as planned. Tygra tracked me down so I can disrupt your wedding. You see, I just arrived on Thundera and Tygra told me about your wedding the day before. He gave me access into Cat's Lair on your wedding day so I can ruin it, but even he didn't know about my secret. With you single again, he took advantage of your vulnerability and turned you against Lion-O with his lies. Yes, lies. Everything he said about Lion-O is a lie. Everything he said we did is a lie. Hmm, I think that's it." Laura hands the sword back to Cheetara. "You can take me now, Bailiff. My work here is done." Laura held her arms out and the bailiff handcuffed her and they exited the room . The press asked questions and flashed cameras as Laura made her exit.
Cheetara couldn't believe what she had heard, but it was true. Tygra, her best friend, was actually in love with her, separated her from Lion-O, and almost ruined her life. All the other Thundercats, were speechless after Laura's confession. No one had expected the trial to end this way.
Lion-O turned to Tygra angry. Tygra, one of his best friends, his second-in-command was behind his breakup with Cheetara, his marriage with Leela. Everything that had happened to Lion-O and Cheetara over the past year was Tygra's fault. He was so upset to learn that because of Tygra he had to marry Leela or more correctly Laura and not Cheetara. That was what really made the young lord's blood boil. "You son of a bi-"
Panthro jumped in front of Lion-O, cutting off his words and preventing him from hitting Tygra, although he understood and wanted to take him out too. "No, Lion-O. Not now."
"No, Panthro, I've been calm about this too long. Tygra's going to pay for what he's done," Lion-O said furious and pushed Panthro aside, knocking him back in his seat. The only thing between Lion-O and Tygra now was air.
"You wouldn't dare," Tygra said as Lion-O approached him.
Lion-O responded by punching Tygra hard knocking him flat on his back as he hit the floor hard. Lion-O was about to charge on Tygra again, but the twins interrupted him. WilyKit grabbed Lion-O's left arm and WilyKat grabbed his right arm.
"No, Lion-O," Kat said.
"Keep your cool," Kit tried to calm him down.
But the Lord of the Thundercats wouldn't keep his cool. He was determined to beat Tygra with everything he got. He swung his left and right arm, knocking the twins off him. Lion-O was about to grab Tygra who was getting off the floor when Cheetara ran to front of him.
"No, Lion-O," Cheetara said.
"Cheetara he--"
Cheetara placed her hands on his face. "I know, Lion-O, and although this is the time, it's certainly not the place," she said in a soothing voice to calm him down.
Lion-O sighed, "You're right," he looked at Judge Tatiana who was quiet through the whole thing. She watched the events unfolded before her and didn't stop Lion-O because she didn't mind this outburst. "Your honor, we'll handle Tygra," he said and Tatiana nodded. He took his sword from Cheetara and left her side walking out, "He's mine when we get back to the lair," Lion-O muttered angrily.
The twins followed Lion-O and Panthro looked down at Tygra who was getting off the floor. "If I were you, I'd take the Thunderclaw back. Cheetara won't be needing it." Panthro advised and left.
Cheetara walked to Tygra and grabbed him by the top of his tunic. "I want to talk to you the moment we get back to Cat's Lair," she said in an icy tone and knocked him in his seat angrily. She ignored the questions from the reporters as she stormed out.
Tygra straightened his clothes and left the room, ignoring the questions from the press.
Parts 61-64: Do I really need to say what happens now?
Why didn't the Sword of Omens side with Tygra? He's smarter. Main page.
