P3) Angel's Farewell

Song Fic: There You'll be By Faith Hill (Pearl Harbor Soundtrack)

The soft rays of the mornings light drifted into the room from the barely open blinds. Angel
moans and rolls away from the light only to see some guy in her room. As she looks at him he smiles at her. It a human with short brown hair, black eyes, and dressed in red and white
cloths.
"Morning," she said barely above a whisper as she just laid there looking at him.
"It's time," he said.
"I see. And you must be one of the Dimensional Guardians and Messengaers," Angel said. He
smiles and holds up his hand, showing a budding pink rose in his right palm.
"So, does Anya know?" Angel asked.
"Yes." Angel sighs.
"I'll leave today...but I deserve to tell them why...and say good bye."
"You have untill midnight. Then you must return home for instructions," he said and vanished.
Angel groaned and sat up in bed.
"Time to face...my last day here," Angel said, almost sadly.

Angel was still on New Thundera, and it was three days after she broke up with Tigra so that
he could be with is true soulmate Cassandra. Angel went down to breakfast and found the two sitting together. She was happy for them but kept her distance from them that day.
"Angel, is something wrong?" Panthro asked. She looked up and saw that he and Angela were looking at her. So was everyone else.
"Can we talk about it after breakfast?" Angel asked.
"Sure," Lion-O said. Breakfast was tense as they all wondered what was wrong with Angel.
Once the table was cleared, alleyes were on her once more. Angel took a breath and looked
back at them.
"This is going to be my last day here," Angel said finally. Instantly, questions were thrown
at her as to why. She held up her hands and that quieted them all down.
"It has to do with my being an Rose Sister. I need to go home and start my duites."
"Which are?" Cheeatra asked.
"To meet the higher level roses, and name new low level roses." Everyone looked at Angel
confussed.
"I think you need to explain this to us," LynxO said. Angel nodded.
"There are six levels of Roses:

Yellow roses are mortals who are mentors and teachers, their marking is a yellow rose bud
on the brow.
Pink roses are immortal Dimensional Guardians and Messangers. This marking is a opening rose
in the palm of the right hand.
Red Roses are just under me. They are bloomers with limited acess to the dimensional portals.
They go where the gods tell them to. They can be mortal or imortal...and their marking is a
blooming rose on the right shoulder.
White Roses...like me...have total freedom to travel where ever they want. Only two girls
and two guys from each dimension can have this mark...which is a full bloom white rose around
the navle.
And above that is the Amythest Roses. Their marks bloom over their hearts because they are
all immortal...and there are only three of them.
Finally, there are the black roses. They are the hackers of the portals. They like to use
the gateways to their own profit and often spread evil.
But me and Anya...we are the only Rose Sisters...and we have special duties..."

"And they are?"
"No clue...that's why I have to go back." Everyone was silent. The time for goodbyes had
come, but sooner than they had expected.
"Will you be coming back?" Kit asked. Angel thought about this.
"From time to time...yes. But, can we enjoy this last day?"
"Yes. How long do you have?" Pumyra asked.
"Till midnight."
"Then let's make this day special," Bengali said.

And they did. They did what Angel wanted, basiclly treating her like a princess that day...
and she got tired of it by eveneing. That evening, they went to a local talent show that Angel
really wanted to go to. She had a special way of saying goodbye and it was going to be a surprise.
While the other were watching, Angel sliped away and it wasn't untill after an rock act
that Wiley Kat noticed this.
"Where's Angel?" he asked. Everyone looked around for her as the audiance apluaded and
the band got off the stage.
"And now, for our last acxt of the night. We have Angel Rose, singing 'There you'll Be' ,"
The host said, putting a hand out to his right and Angel came out on stage, the audiance
aplauding her. Angela and the Thundercats just looked on with dropped jaws.
"Thank you. I just want to say before I begin, that this is my last day here...and it may be
a while before I return. So this is my way of saying goodbye to my freinds here tonight...you
know who you are guys," Angel said, and with a while of her hand, the speakers began to
play the intro to the song by Faith Hill.

And as Angela and the Thundercats lsiten, they get flashbacks of when Angela and Sophia
first befreinded the Thundercats and the advetures they had. Learning about All Hallows
Eve, Angela lossing her locket but regaining the Magick braclets, the Starlight Warrirors, meeting Eon, the calling of Angel & Anya, the morning Sophia slipped in the shower, &
the night Alluro jumped Angel in the woods.

When I think back
On these times
And the dreams
We left behind
I’ll be glad 'cause
I was blessed to get
To have you in my life
When I look back
On these days
I’ll look and see your face
You were right there for me

Angel flashes back to her adeventures on 3rd Earth, pulling all those pranks on the
Villians, finally being able to meet the Thundercats, and returning on Valentines Day
to match Lion-o and Cheetara only to end up with Tigra.

In my dreams

I’ll keep a part

And everywhere I am

They all remember the times with Angel. Having to save her in the Dreamverse, Angel and Alluro
getting trappe din the cave to have her cast the Matchmaker for him, when Mummra casted the
Mindwarp on Angel to have her fight our heros.

Well you showed me
How it feels
To feel the sky
Within my reach
And I always
Will remember all
The strength you
Gave to me
Your love made me
Make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me

Then they remebered meeting Angel Pink and Sage. And hwo she joined with the other two angels
to fight Mummra one time to save Angel. And when all three worked together to help Chilla
and Alluro start a new life.

And there were those off beat adventures, where some of the Thundercats were sucked into
other dimensions. And when Benglai and Tigra went to Starcrossed to discover some of
Angel's secrets.

Now for all the ways
You were right there for me
You were right there for me
For always

And finally. The break up of Angela back on 3rd Earth, Sophia becomeing a Mail Carrier of
Love, Cassius the chameleon mutant, Eon being the new Angel of History freeing Angela from
3rd Earth as Angel of thr Cosmos, Panthro prosposing to Angela, and the breakup of Angel
& Tygra when it was shown that Cassandra ws his soulmate.

In my dreams

Angel finsihed the song with a tear falling from her face as she hung it down just enough
so the shadows could hide her eyes. The audiance loved her and gave her a standing obation.
Angel formally curtsed to this and looked up finally when they began to calm down. She
looked to the way back and saw a glowing clock.
"Five minuets to midnight. It's time for me to go," Angel said. People looked at the clock
murmured as she smiled.
"Till we meet again," she said with a smile, and held up her hand. Ripples formed under
her feet, sparkles and white rose petals swirled around her, and in a single falsh of light
she was gone. Everyone else thought it was a trick and clapped, but Angela and the others
knew better. Angel had gone home to start her duties as a Rose Sister.

Sophia looked over what she written, feeling sadness in her heart that she hadn't been
able to say goodbye to Angel. Suddenly, there is a brezze stirred the air and she sees
Angel smiling at her from her breau mirror.
"Sophia, something has to end for something else to begin," she said.
"I know. This is only just the beginning and more's to come," Sophia said. She closed
the book she had just finished writting in and pulled out a new book that had yet to be
written in. Angel smiles at this.
"Then I leave you to your future. May we meet again, Sophia Rose," Angel said, bowing and vanishing. Sophia smiled and brushed the exposed pink rose around her naval. Yes, she was
a Rose Clan memeber as well, but being the One of All has made her signis appear around
her naval. Gods only knew why Angel's appeared in the same place. And with that, our
story of the Angels of Third Earth ends.

But like Angel said...this isn't the end, only the beginning.
