Japanese with ChuChu! @=. .=@ - Chu!

Chu x100! (Translations: Instead of writing 'ChuChu' a bajillion times I simply write Chu and continue! ^_^)

So you would like to learn some japanese huh? Well you have entered a great place to do just that, learn japanese! It's a complex language (in writing that is)Their are two types of Japanese based writing and one chinese based writing.

The two forms of Japanese based writing are known as 'Hiragana' and 'Katakana'. Katakana is a little bit harder for me to do but I have heard it is the simpler between the two. And the chinese form of writing is called 'Kanji'.

What I tell you in here is going by my daily studies in my High School japanese course which I am currently taking. So if there arise some gramatical errors please don't flame me. Most things I put down will be correct because I can double check anything with my Japanese word font program I installed on my computer. (I may have that for a download here so you can all become familiar with Japanese to! Isn't that nice of me? ^_^ NO!?)

Well anyways we'll begin with the basic vowels that all first year japanese students MUST learn or they will be left in the dust so to speak.

I am writing the following chart out in the form that is on the chart I recieved from school (note these are the english vowels that I am putting down)

*************************************

When reading the following please read from right to left top to bottom.

ta (t-ah) sa (s-ah) ka (k-ah) a (ah)

chi (ch-ee) si (sh-ee) ki (k-ee) i (ee)

tsu (ts-oo) su (s-oo) ku (k-oo) u (oo)

te (t-eh) se (s-eh) ke (k-eh) e (eh)

to (t-oh) so (s-oh) ko (k-oh) o (oh)

Each week I will put up different characters so you should check back frequently this way you will become better and better at it. But soon I should have the Japanese w.f. program available. It has Kanji Romaji Hiragana and normal english text. So study hard all you wonderful minds. If learning this day by day isn't you style I will also below here add a few different words and phrases for you as well.

Words & Phrases

Girls: Hajememashte (How Are you?) Watashi wa (I am) Jamie Desu. Yoroshiku Engai Shimasu (Very Nice to meet you!)

Guys: For you men you say exactly the same thing except replace Watashi wa with *Bokuwa* sorry girls Bokuwa is only for guys. ^_~*
