I come from a long line
of pioneers that passed the Old-Fashioned Stitchin’
down through our generation. One example is my Great-Grandmother
who came from Virginia, crossed
the plains with the Mormon pioneers,
and settled in Goshen, Utah. She sewed the American flag which flew over
the town for many years. I was taught at a very early age to
embroider’
and later, as
a teenager, I learned the art of ‘huck toweling’
(also known as
Swedish Weaving).
Huck is done on the top of the material
only, never piercing
the fabrics. I love stitchin’ and
have received many
compliments on my work over
the years.
My embroidered
towels are made of good quality flour
sacks, which measure 30"x36"!

week on them.
Huck
Towels are 16"x27" with many patterns to
choose from. Choose your own
floss colors.
