Solstice and Artemis

NAME: Solstice

AGE: 27 years.. Adjusts accordingly to form

RACE: Gargoyle

GENDER: Female

DESCRIPTION: Body color is an ice blue with midnight blue inner wing membranes. Hand-like wing talons and ribbed wings. A singular brow-spike, with separate horns directly over my brows. Long, curly brown hair.

LIKES: Music, Horses, Magic, Art, all animals and magical creatures. A good sense of humor, time alone with my thoughts, time with my friends, listening, laughing, telling stories.

DISLIKES: Any creature who is cruel to animals, certain foods (onions! Bleh!), unnecessary violence or strong language, and really annoying creatures.

MAGIC: White Talent (though not fully untapped as yet ) Have learned some spells that correspond to my music, creating whatever kind of magic is needed, or desired.

NON-MAGIC: Riding horses, singing, play piano, harpsichord, guitar, and lute. Some fighting skills.

PERSONALITY: Easy-going, but if crossed, I can be very vengeful. Usually quiet, I like to listen to the whole story before judging, and can usually see both sides of a story. I have a good, but strange, sense of humor that can strike at the oddest moments. I am quiet about my past, only speaking about it when relentlessly quizzed, and then only in private, not large groups. Sometimes though, stories slip out when others bring up like subjects.

GENEALOGY: Unknown. Before I hatched, My egg was found by some fairies who knew of Avalon and the gargoyle protectors there. They took me to Avalon and left me to hatch after speaking with the humans sworn to protect the gargoyles there.

HISTORY: After hatching on Avalon, a couple of years after the original rookery eggs had hatched, I grew up mostly alone. Katherine and Tom made sure I was fed and clothed, but as I was not one of Goliath's clan's eggs, they took no special care of me. So I was raised on the outskirts of the Avalon clan, learning my magic, music, and warrior skills by sheer determination and a lot of practice. I learned how to ride horses in secret, having a natural affinity for them, and a way with them. One day, I spotted the skiff, and decided on the spot to leave Avalon, and have been "touring" ever since, never knowing where I would end up. I acquired my horse, the Friesian mare named Artemis, on one of the stops. I do not know exactly how long I've been on the skiff, but it has taken me to many places and on many adventures.
