Wow.... it's Sarah!
"The sea of waking dreams..."
WARNING: This gets kind of sentimental.. it's a subject close to my heart..
This is Sarah M... actually my first musical obsession. And still one of my
first and foremost! You're probably getting sick of me saying this, but I REALLY
didn't like her music at first. It kind of annoyed me and the lyrics struck me
as really nonsensical. I didn't really get hooked until her album "Surfacing"
came out.. and the first song I really liked was "Angel". The funniest thing about it
is that it was actually my sister's tape.. but I was constantly listening to it..
and my sister moved out and took the tape with her and I CRIED. Isn't that funny?
But anyway... my first impression was obviously wrong. Her songs have, ever since then,
been full of meaning for me. . . at different times in my life. Her lyrics
go so deep, her voice is so beautiful, and her music is PERFECT! Part of the reason
I decided I liked it so much is that when I listened to it, I felt like someone understood
a part of me that I hardly understood. Her music got me through a lot of hard times
and still does. Well, now I'm done gushing. Sarah's great! If you don't know her music
(besides all the singles they play on the radio.. singles are NEVER the best!)
