Hello, my name is Sara Gutierrez. Welcome to my website. After being away from school for several years, I finally become an official UT graduate as of December 1999 where I received a Bachelor of Journalism degree concentrating in news/public affairs from the College of Communication. This achievement had been long awaited and anticipated by my family and me. I thank them for their patience and support in helping me achieve this goal.

I am currently employed by the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, an administrative unit of the University of Texas at Austin, as an administrative associate. However, my long-term career goals include seeking employment where I can contribute my journalism and communication skills more fully.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years although I do not take as many pictures as I did in the past. I was pleasantly surprised when a group project for a class I took was selected as part of the University website. I hope that you will visit my photograph pages that include many of the photos used in the Virtual Statue Tour at the University of Texas at Austin.
