The Mystery
K imberly Jordan has had a very dark past that is shrouded in mystery. She has experienced some traumatic events that has been suppressed in her memory since she was a child. Incidences that she would rather forgotten. And she did. Until now, at the age of nineteen and an aspiring artist in the field of craft and sculpting, the horrid past has risen it’s ugly head again to haunt her. Like the pieces of a massive jigsaw puzzle, segments of the past have been cropping up in dreams, nightmares and flashbacks of scenes, people, animals and sequences. Some are recognizable, some are not. Others seem totally unreal.

The Sessions
With the help of psychologist Dr. S.R. Ramdeen, Kimberly is guided through a series of sessions that will allow her to deal with her troubled past. Dr. Ramdeen tries to take her back to her spiritual roots by encouraging her to acquire peace by having faith in God. He has come to realize that Kimberly’s strong hold is not only a psychological one but more so, a spiritual warfare. Kimberly does not understand the whole deal of Dr Ramdeen’s psycho- spiritual approach but gradually, he begins to make sense to her.

The Complex
One of Dr Ramdeens first diagnosis for Kimberly’s condition is what he dubbed as a "Rhino Complex". As a child, she had a purple stuffed rhinoceros that was her security blanket in times of trouble and discomfort. Now as an adult this has been transferred on to most of her artwork by having a rhino or its characteristic being depicted in her craft and sculptures. Even the patterns on the clothes she chooses.

The Seed
As small as it may be, she must muster up her faith to unlock this mystery and misery of her past. What events has caused these nightmares and led her to subconsciously depend on the security of a rhino rather than on a higher being that can give her hope and strength to conquer? Alas, but only the first piece of the puzzle has been laid on the table. Thus begins the tale of "The Mustard Seed Mystery Theater" © 1998-99.
