Thank you for pointing out i neglected my old personal website... now here ya go for one button press unlock
please read warning below
Ok well the reasons i did this little modification are..
1: Again boredom complete boredom i am in Utah so it happens here..... a lot
2: Tired of pressing the unlock twice so passengers can get in
pretty easy here are the steps
1) Remove the panel under the dash on the driver's side. 1 pushpin, and 2 plastic phillip head screws
2) The OBDII diagnostic connector is snapped into this panel. Release it, i used my "Can Bender" (installers know what that is if not use a screwdriver) so you can get this panel out of your way.
3) get under the dash looking up. You will see a black box under the steering column that has 3 electrical connectors plugged into it.
4) On the connector that is closest to the front of the car, examine the two wires that are on the very end. The top wire is red with a green stripe, and the wire under it is light green.
5) Cut the top wire (red with a green stripe) leave yourself enough room if you want to splice it back to stock later. I am never hearing the beep beep beep beep from my car again its only a beep beep . so i didnt care where i cut it... though i did leave it long enough for who knows... (dun dun dunnnnnn)
6)remove the covering from the light green wire and solder the red with a green stripe to it... or use a vampire tap (hate those things)
put her back together and TADA your done test it and make sure it works, i tested before i soldered.... maybe i should've put that in above... no i know you LGT guys are smarter than that
NOTE I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU BLOWING UP OR MESSING UP YOUR CAR IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM>>> I DO THIS CAUSE I HAVE BEEN DOING MOBILE ELECTRONIC INSTALLATIONS FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS NOW.... PLEASE BE CAREFULL!!!!!! OR CALL ME IF YOU NEED HELP YOU SHOULD KNOW MY NUMBER IF OT YOU PROB KNOW SOMEBODY WHO DOES. THANK YOU
