(Overview)

It was obvious from the outset that the drainage system they had in place was not doing its job if actually working at all. From observation it was apparant first that the existing pipes were to far down in the ground , where there were drainage vents these were always full water , which meant that little if any water was going any place at all, even after days of sunshine the water took at least 3 to 4 days to evaporate leaving pipes still full of water.

From observation the main street pipes that were being installed were not low enough down in the road and the land the school is on is actually at a lower level, however it appears that the local council have installed pipes now behind the school so our plan now is to run a drainage system right across the front school virtually level to the ground with plenty of drainage vents and to take pipes either end school to the wall behind the school and into the new pipes the local council have installed.

At this stage as we are only in the process of stages 3 4 5 which is the mid way section of the school i have instructed the builder to run the pipes we laid alongside stage 2 through the brick wall and into the public pipe so we can ascertain if this will work, in theory most water should disperse even though the final stages are not sealed off as yet.
