• FIRST GENERATION: Susan WALLEN was born about 1809 in Lee Co., VA. She died between 1860 and 1870 in Randolph Co., AR. She was married to James Middleton Smith 1830 Hamilton Co., TN.
• SECOND GENERATION: William WALLEN was born in 1778 in Lee Co., VA. He died after 1840 in Hamilton Co., TN He was married to Mary ROGERS about 1800 in Lee Co., VA.
• THIRD GENERATION: John WALLING was born on 27 Jul 1750 in Lunenburg Co., VA. He died on 22 Apr 1836 in MCMinn Co., TN. He was married to Mary ROBERTS about 1775 in VA.
• FOURTH GENERATION: Elisha WALLING Sr. was born on 26 Jul 1708 in Cohansey, Salem Co., NJ. He died between 1783 and 1785 in Henry Co., VA. He was married to Mary BLEVINS between 1732 and 1734 in Prince George Co., MD.
• FIFTH GENERATION: Thomas WALLING II was born on 8 Feb 1669 in Providence, Providence Co., RI. He died before 22 Oct 1724 in Cohansey, Salem Co., NJ. He was married to Sarah ELWELL on 20 May 1695 in Providence, Providence Co., RI.
• SIXTH GENERATION: Thomas WALLING was born in 1627 in Plymouth Colony, Plymouth, MA. He died on 19 Jul 1674 in Providence Co., RI. He was married to Mary ABBOTT on 23 May 1651.
• SEVENTH GENERATION: Thomas WALLING was born in England. He died in Providence Co., RI.
• EIGHTH GENERATION: Ralph WALLING was born about 1590 in London, England.
