Saboteur Part 3

Jordan Michaels growled as he threw himself out of his bed. Being the head nurse was harsh. It was the highest position he ever held and he guessed that he should be grateful considering his recent release from the psychiatric ward at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

He ran down the hall and into Med Bay.

Jordan took a deep breath and smiled a little while later. He was always happy once emergencies were finished. And no one had died. Sacros was worse for the wear, so Jordan was a littled worried about that.

He looked around after he washed his hands. Jordan had yet to meet the Chief Medical Officer. He had gotten on the boat and went to sleep right away, which he hadn't had a chance to do after his flight.

He saw Dr. Garrett's office across the way. He walked around the array of boxes and also ran into a few medical people on the way, but, finally, arrived still in one piece.

"Dr. Garrett?" He said as he walked into her office. "Hi."

Brianna looked up from her paperwork and frowned slightly. "Hello, can I help you?"

"I just wanted to officially introduce myself. Jordan Michaels. I'm the head nurse practioner. Call me Jordan."

Brianna looked down at her roster. "I don't remember a Jordan Michaels being on my crew."

"I'm a last minute addition. They weren't sure I was going to be released on time." When Jordan realized he said the last part, he bent his head. He prayed she wouldn't take notice to it.

"Hmmmm," the doctor shrugged. "I trust you know your job well, because if you don't, you'll answer to me and it won't be pretty."

"Yeah, I'll be in my room if you need me," he mumbled before leaving quickly, not hearing if she said anything else.

Brianna stared at the closed door. "I wish the captain would keep me updated with things," she mumbled, tipping her head down to finish the paperwork. "Requisition forms for orange juice," she sighed. "I can't believe I'm doing this..."
