ENSIGN KASSIDY "KASSI" ELISABETH DANDRIDGE

Security watch photo, date unknown

PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PHYSICAL PROFILE BY DR. GWENDOLYN SMITH

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Ensign Dandridge is somewhat shy and introverted, a strong type A personality. Describes Captain Katherine Hitchcock as a female military role model. According to psychological profile, Kassi has had to overcome her shyness to become an officer. She joined the Navy right out of High School to meet new people and see the world, but was quite surprised when she ended up with a desk job as a secretary to an Admiral in Maryland. She fought to get to the rank of Ensign and to be allowed to go on a ship. She chose not to go to college out of her own self-doubt. Very insecure.

MEDICAL HISTORY:

All childhood immunizations, instance of psychosomatic stomach pains at age 6 from parent's divorce, repeated wrist and ankel sprains from riding accidents, broke arm at age 14 during riding accident, appendicitis at age 15, occassional migraines, and is unusually thin, possibly a borderline eating disorder, unable to diagnose positively, may just be a fitness fanatic. She claims she has always been naturally thin. I eventually decided it would be best to release Kassi with a clean bill of health for active duty.

PERSONAL/NON-GOVERNMENT INFORMATION

APPEARANCE:

When she entered my office, she had long blonde hair that curls when it air-dries, hazel-green eyes and some freckles, which she had covered up with make up. She said she has become more athletic after joining the Navy. She wore thin, silver-rimmed glasses for reading. Personal note: very fragile looking.

FORMER RELATIONSHIPS:

Claims no official relationships to date.

PERSONAL LIKES:

"marine biology, exotic religions, church," (she practices Catholicism) "anthropology, singing," (she will not sing for other people to hear) "jogging, reading, writing," (she won't let anyone read what she writes, unless she is 'very close to them') "music, my long-haired black and tan dachshund, Trixie, riding my horse, Friday's Angel," (she showed me pictures of both of her animals) "and scuba diving in coral reefs."

DISLIKES:

"Oh, public speaking, anything to do with being the center of attention, people bothering me about my weight, and people who want to know too much about me."

MUSICAL INSTRUMENT:

piano (she says she was "forced" to learn it as a child), cello in high school, which she showed me a picture of her old instrument, and some guitar

Kassi's Old Cello

FAVORITE MUSICIANS:

Dave Matthews Band, The Dixie Chicks, Ben Folds Five, and the Goo Goo Dolls. She "likes the lyrical content." This shows me a person who enjoys blending in, but at the same time, has a darker side they attempt to conceal.

HOBBIES:

Writing, scuba diving, horseback riding.

SPECIALTIES:

Web pages, speech-writing for others, counseling friends (nonprofessionally), fixing mechanics, scuba diving

BACKGROUND:

Kassi tells me she was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to David and Melissa Dandridge, who separated when she was 6. It upset her to the point that she was hospitalized for psycho-sematic stomach pains during the separation. She began painting when her mother remarried Michael Kamoto. She attended Dobson-Collet High School, where she played cello in the school symphony. She graduated in the top 25% of her class, but turned down several partial scholarships, to her family's shock. She admitted that she secretly wishes to be her sister, Nyssa, "sometimes," because Nyssa is outgoing and gets along easily with people. Kassi feels like she will never live up to Nyssa, and she sites this as the main reason she did what no one expected, in order to find herself, when she joined the Navy.
