Lieutenant Joel Michaels

PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PHYSICAL PROFILE BY DR. GWENDOLYN SMITH

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Joel is the loud, smart-ass type. He is extremely smart and knows it. Not too afraid to flaunt it around, so to speak. Joined the Navy because he's always had something of a fascination with water. This is a danger to look out for with Joel. He can be okay one minute, but suicidal the next. Mood change can be quite drastic. Beyond that, he can be very fun loving and very loose, maybe too loose. Very charming and handsome. He and his brother are identical twins and both stationed on the SeaHawk. Their personalities are polar opposites but they can't get away from their appearances. They are so in tuned with each other that everything received in adult life remains identical between them, including injuries.

MEDICAL HISTORY:

Injuries received to his right ear. Possible bug bites. Scars are there but don't interfere with his hearing, similar to brother Jordan. He's psychologically built up against phychics, is he trying to hide something? Nightmares are severe. Has a light case of claustrophobia, which he takes Zoloft for. We're not sure beyond this. He will not open up. It is suspected from comments made by his Uncle (Major Gregg Michaels) that child abuse has taken place on him and his brother.
*(of note) He has had tendencies towards depression in the past, which he has been treated for several times. He recieved on-the-job psychological counseling while in the naval service. Severe anxiety mid-tour. According to UEO HQ, he's "cured" just like his brother, or he wouldn't be here, but I'd advise Doctor Garrett to wait and see on his case, and he is still on medication.
