MEDICAL HISTORY:

All childhood vaccination immunities. Some minor injuries during his years at the Naval Academy at Annapolis; sprained right knee, left wrist, broke fourth rib on right. Clean bill of health. He was friends with Scott Dykarious and Heather Davis at the Academy. Dykarious killed himself one day on a repelling tower in PT because of his failing grades, according to his personal log book, in front of Diringer, and Davis killed herself shortly after being expelled for implied fratrinization with Dykarious. This was during the "UEO Inquisition," when Navy training was being considered too weak and the officers coming out of it weren't "disciplined enough." He has come out of the Academy extremely strict and rarely is lax on the rules. I have the feeling that he believes that if he and his friends had had harsher discipline in Academy, Scott Dykarious would not have killed himself and set off the chain reaction of Davis's suicide. Diringer was known in the Academy for being quite the practical joker, but, has been known for his strictness since he left the academy. He was also batallion commander his senior year. People who had worked with him for quite sometime say he actually does let his sense of humor show when he's comfortable enough and the timing is right. He can be very amusing, and "downright funny," according to his last commander when you get to know him.
