WOVEN HEARTS
Sitting among the grass and wild flowers,
We watch the water glimmer
Against the darkening sky, playing
With the precious red and orange
Lights rays of a breath-taking sunset.
My hands in his and his in mine,
Time delays its continuous passage
For an idle moment when
Love and beauty embrace in reunion.
Together, we build mountains of dreams
That touch the stars and penetrate the earth.
Together, our woven hearts
Outlive suns and moons.
No ocean nor planet can separate
Our intertwined souls.
