Edition #5: The Irish Colleen Meets Barbie
Yes, I am aware that I am back at college, and have been for about 2 months now, but I need money to buy disks so I can save my work from the scanner to transfer it to the webpage... but to keep you entertained until my next release of Ghillie Gal, here is a great news press story from the worlds a couple years back...

Nope, this is not mine, but when I saw it and read the article I thought they were both... um... interesting... both exremely true and resoundingly false. Click on the political cartoon to read the article.

Just a bit of something different... you all know the girls who can kick so high they're gonna lose something, like a nose or forehead?? well, that got me thinking... lol

Many thanks to Ashe for the use of her dress designing template, which can be found on her site.

Edition #1
This Edition of Random Irish Dance Ideas features an interesting concept for all you Harry Potter Fans... Harry Potter and Hogwarts inspired solo dresses!!! D'ya think I am infringing copyright?
The top one, Harry Potter, features hogwarts on the bodice, Harry on the center panel with his trusty owl Hedwig. The side panels feature Hermione and Ron and their respective pets and penchants.
the next one features the impressive snitch motif, with inclusive celtic knotwork...
and the last one showcases each of the houses of hogwarts... I didn't have the energy to come up with a knotwork concept, so just imagine each of the extremely sketchy mascots is entwined with knotwork, as well as the hogwarts crest on bodice and cuffs. (I'm a ravenclaw!!!)
Hope you enjoyed my random Irish Dance Ideas! If you really really really like one of these dresses, I can design a better looking one that you can take to a dressmaker to make into an actual dress, I know some of us are that obsessed with HP... (no, really, I am!)
