BRAVES WIN SYL TITLE!

TEHACHAPI NEWS -- The Braves won the South Yosemite League championship last week after recording a 24-7 victory over West at home.

In the third quarter, the Braves put the game away for good with a Connor Timm 10-yard touchdown run. Timm was the second leading rusher for Tehachapi on the evening, recording 92 yards on eight carries. The scoring drive was set up off a Timm 11-yard catch on fourth down from quarterback Carson Bethany to set up the short distance running score.

Bethany finished the night with three completions, finding Timm for the 11-yard catch, Luke Soto for a nine-yard completion and Cameron Walsh for a 16-yard completion.
