National Labs Day
*5 volunteers to sit in at lunch (noon-1:15 pm): Lindsay Wray, Lucy Abrayman, Marielle Wardell, Shawna, and Kristina
*Catherine, Sara, and Lily will do the reception and presentation
*Catherine and Lily will make the presentation board (Kristina says to use the plotter)
*We need a one to three page description of SWE, projects, and funding needs by the end of the day Wednesday.

Selling T-shirts ("10 reasons I came to Mudd")
*We have about 70 shirts left to sell.
*aiming for selling them next week at lunch and dinner
*a signup sheet went around: at least 17 people are interested in selling
*price: $10 (when we had baby tees, they went for $12)

New position: SWE Historian/Publicist
*job is to take pictures at meetings and events, maybe with writeups about events
*may eventually take website over from Alice
*Lindsay Wray and Marielle Wardell will fill the position jointly
*need to add them to the SWE officers list

Group Bonding
*still planning on doing the bowling alley tour and bowling afterward
*remind Kristina to look into reservations and planning

Prof Dinners
*potential profs: Bassman, female Harris (wait on her), Jacobsen, Cardenas, Orwin
*start off with Orwin
*Catherine or Sara will contact Orwin soon

Miss SWE
*on November 4th bc that's the date Deren can do it

SWE-L.A.
*September 30th dinner downtown on Thursday (the 23rd?) at 7 p.m.
*Shawna and Kristina will be going, leaving around 5:30 or later
*anyone who wants to go should contact them
*This will be a motivational seminar with a speaker about financial issues. The audience will be a mix of professional engineers and students.
*The cost is $30, but SWE could reimburse anyone for going.

Officer Training
*at CalState University at Northridge, officer training for SWE and SME
*Saturday October 9th 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
*anyone should speak up if they want to go

National SWE Conference in Wisconsin
*October 14-16 (Thurs, Fri, Sat)
*probably need any officers to volunteer to go before others in order to organize
*underclassmen: companies recruit for internships, so good opportunity for jobs
