-active SWE members might get a price cut: baby $9, regular $8

Miss SWE
-Thanks to everyone for their help!
-We actually made money this year.
-Jamie brought tasty desserts in celebration.
-Lindsay and Marielle took pictures and wrote an article abt the pageant.
-Alice will email swe-l asking for pictures in her next meeting reminder.

Prof Dinner with Cardenas
-Thursday, November 18th
-Genah, Shawna, Zane, Tracy, Jowene, and Monica are interested
-Catherine will contact them about time and transportation
-Shawna can drive and will reserve the Mudd van

Terasa Sweek
-will come as a guest speaker Monday November 15th during the SWE meeting
-Mudd alum from CTG Energetics (energy efficiency in buildings)
-Come with questions!

Leslie Joe
-will come talk potentially November 22nd during the meeting
-from Raytheon to talk about the e-mentoring program

Speaking Skills Workshop
-Claudia's last two sessions are scheduled for November 29th and December 6th
-Someone suggested we get her to come during the meetings, but we decided we will need to get work done, so we'll still plan on having her at 5:30 before the meetings.

Other
-Prof Little talked to Kristina about high school kids coming to campus to learn about engineering; SWE should get involved
-Software & Electronics Night and Biotech Night got canceled out of lack of corporate interest.
