Miss SWE

-will probably be in Linde dorme lounge, need to hear from F&M
-Alice will send an advertisement to students-l
-about 6 contestants so far, would be good to have more

YBS Day
-Young Black Scholars Day 11-5
-need volunteers from SWE
-Blanche will pay us $500 for our help
-will help with signup, student panel, tour around campus, marble track workshop
-Lindsay Wray interested
-will email swe-l and see, esp people who haven't been very involved

National SWE Conference
-will be 11-3 to 11-5
-check your email if you are going because there will be a meeting soon
-if you didn't get a receipt tell us

Opportunity Day
-in November, 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm
-need to brainstorm topics of interest for corporate panel so they can find certain people (experiences during college, PhD, woman, field work vs. office work)
-let us know if there's anything else you want

-Engineering Seminar speaker on 11-16 from Qualcomm

-Dean Goroff (new dean of faculty) free 11-16, 11-23, and 11-30
-lots of interest
-we can pay for it if too many for Leonard Fund

-Sara will head the pamphlet of female faculty at Mudd to hand out at WEST
-want people to interview specific profs
-will try to get that together this semester
-Reviews of fall break trips are due tomorrow by noon.
