TRUSTBUILD: WORTHY OF AWARD?
9-5-07

The Selma Times-Journal had a lengthy article in the Sunday edition lauding the Mayor's board of election, Trust/Build. When reading the two articles of distain written by the editor, this website was surprised they would print this article. Perkins as well as "announced" his running again on a local radio show. We hope the STJ will allow equal time to those running against him and his taxpayer funded election board.

A source from Trust/Build has said when those "election officials" come to a person's home they insure the people understand the Mayor personally sent them. The point is they are attempting to say that Trust/Build is the greatest thing since grits. It is for him and his puppets. Citizens paying for his election campaign, how wonderful!!

LET'S LOOK!!

Sources have informed Angelfire that when they asked for help from Trust/Build they were directed to the same places they had just left asking for help. These sources have stated that staff of Trust/Build are the Mayor's puppets and have the authority to turn away anyone who openly opposes the Mayor's agenda.

Sources have told this website that Trust/Build will tell them to come back in the future to check on help. These people needed help now - their power and gas will be turned off by then.

Sources have also told us that the police officers are chauffers and should be on the street fighting crime, instead of trying to re-elect the Mayor.

Reaching into his sorted bag of tricks, he directed his personal Public Relations reporter, Victor Inge, to submit an article to the STJ about the "great achievements" of Mayor Perkins and his re-election (Trust/Build) team.

A source in City Government has told us that Mayor Perkins personally wrote this communication to get this nomination. It was a smooth move for a politician to have the opportunity to pat himself on the back and run a re-election campaign at the same time, at taxpayer expense.

As long as Trust/Build is funded by our tax dollars and is used as a ploy for Perkins re-election, we will continue to show and verse our disagreement and discontent because of the damage it is doing to every citizen in Selma. If we win an award for this "program" than we should win an award for the best Water Board in the State of Alabama. HA HA
